Future simple
Future simple tense
The future simple tense is used to describe actions
that will happen at a specific time in the future. It is
one of the basic tenses in English.
Negative Interrogative
Affirmative (Subject+will+not+base Will +subject+base
verb) verb
He/she/it will come He/she/it will not come Will he/she/it come ?
Time words
The future simple tense often uses specific time
expressions to indicate the future.
Tomorrow- Next (week,month, year)- In (an hour,
a day, a week)- Soon- Later- In the future
Examples:
- I will call you tomorrow.
- We will visit them next week.
- She will arrive in an hour.
