How to Use Laptop

Materials:
1. Laptop
2. Mouse
3. charger
Step:
1. Locate the power button, usually found near the keyboard or on the side of your laptop.
2. Press and hold the power button until the laptop starts up. You will see the
manufacturer’s logo and the desktop screen.
3. Once the laptop boots up, you’ll typically be prompted to log in with a username and
password, PIN, or fingerprint scan, depending on your laptop’s security settings.
4. Familiarize yourself with the desktop layout, you’ll usually find icons for files, folders,
and applications.
5. If you’re not already connected to the internet, click on the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray
6. Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password if prompted, and wait for the connection
to establish.
7. Click on the Start button or open the Dock to access a list of installed applications and
settings.
8. When you’re done using your laptop, you can choose to shut it down completely or put it
to sleep.
9. When your laptop’s battery is low, connect the charger to the laptop and plug it into a
power outlet.
10. When you’re finished using your laptop, close the lid and store it in a protective case or
sleeve to prevent damage.
The Impact of Music on Cognitive Performance
Objective: To examine the influence of background music on cognitive performance in a
memory recall task.
Materials:
1. Laptop or computer
2. Headphones
3. Memory recall test (series of words or images)
4. Timer
5. Quiet room
Procedure:
1. Prepare a list of 30 words for the memory recall test.
2. Ensure participants are in a quiet room with minimal distractions.
3. Instruct participants to wear headphones and listen to instrumental music while completing the
memory recall test.
4. Randomly assign participants to two groups: one with background music and one without.
5. Provide clear instructions on the memory recall task and distribute the test sheets to all
participants.Start the timer as participants begin the memory recall task.
6. After completing the task, collect the test sheets and record the time taken for each participant.
7. Repeat the experiment with a different set of participants, swapping the conditions (music or
no music) to control for order effects.
8. Analyze the data to determine if background music has a statistically significant impact on
cognitive performance.
The Way to Recycle Paper
Equipment:
1. Used paper, magazines, of newspapers
2. Bucket
3. Bleach
4. Blender/Food processor
5. White glue
6. Insect screens/water strainer
7. Wire
8. Iron
Directions:
1. First, shape the wires into a rectangular shape.
2. Cover the wire frame with insect screens and sew it. After that, rip the paper into small pieces.
3. And then, put the torn paper in a bucket and fill it with warm water.
4. Add one tablespoon of bleach. Soak the paper for half an hour.
5. Next, put a cup of soaked paper and a blender add some bleached water and blend it.
6. Pour the blended paper in a large rectangular container e.g. sink or tray.
7. Repeat step 4 and 5 until all of the soaked paper s blended.
8. Add and mix two tablespoon of white glue to the blended paper.
9. After that, dip the screen frame into the blended paper. Lift and rinse the water for a minute.
10. Dry the, paper (with the screen frame still on) in the sun.
11. And then peel the paper out of the frame screen when it's dry.
12. Finally, iron the paper.
