1 GENERAL

This instruction is a guide line describing guide rail brackets used in KONE.
Following items are described and illustrated:
– Bracket types and identification number
– Adjustment ranges
– Bracket assemblies
– Fixing types
– Fixing hole locations related to different types of fixings
– Guide rail sizes for each bracket type

NOTE! Standard brackets = adjustment in depth direction

Exclusive brackets = adjustment in depth and side directions
Standard brackets = adjustment in depth direction

Brass plate is used in high rise applications to reduce friction between the guide rail and clips.

APPENDIX 3. KONE MONOSPACE® MX05, MX06 AND MX10 PIT FLOOR

BRACKET INSTALLATION

An edge trim (1) of rubber isolation must be installed on the lowest combination and single
brackets guide rail clips. This is to prevent the car guide rails from moving upwards as the car
is lifted by the tirak hoist and the safety gear remains engaged during installation.
