ABSTRACT
Online shopping is a form of e-commerce that allows customer to directly buy goods
and services from a seller over the internet using a web browser or a mobile application.
Here we will be talking about one of the online shopping platforms in Nepal. DealAyo
is an online platform that offers the widest range of products, in a variety of categories
including electronics, fashion, children’s wear, homeware and much more. The
company claims to offer high quality, great prices, and a level of customer service.
Therefore, the objective of our research is to find out how affordable and qualitative
the products are, and how much the buyers are satisfied with your products and services.
We will be discussing the marketing strategies used, the business model followed, and
the payment modes offered by the company. Also, here we will be finding, interpreting,
and analyzing the business problems using two different methods (SWOT Analysis and
PESTLE analysis).
Lastly, we will try to draw up practical solutions to overcome the suffering of the
company.

CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
E-commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services or the transmitting of funds
or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet. These business transactions
occur either business-to-business, business -to- consumer, consumer -to consumer or
consumer-to business. E-commerce is basically doing business as usual, but across the
internet.
E-commerce means using internet and the web for business transactions and
commercial transactions which typically involve the exchange of value across
organizational or individual boundaries in return of products and services. It provides
users with more options to compare and select the cheaper and better option. E-
commerce is also considered as one of the leading business strategies in national and
international business. The impact of e-commerce has been already seen in the areas of
business from customers to new product design.
This report presents the analysis of the e-commerce in Nepal with reference to
dealayo.com. online buying and selling is a form of e-commerce where consumer can
buy goods and services from a seller over the internet by using web browser. Dealayo
is the trusted and easy to use online shopping store in Nepal that offers surprising and
exciting range of top quality products at affordable prices. Dealayo aims to become
people's first choice when they are looking for original, top quality online shopping in
Nepal.

This study attempted to examine the e-commerce site dealayo.com. Dealayo is one of
the site where one can buy goods. Dealayo is Nepal's fastest growing e-commerce store
that offers products at surprising and affordable rate. This study helps to get knowledge
about the online business, the services they provide, the security mechanism and
payment system they use.
Primary research which involves gathering data that has not been collected before and
it involves active participation from the researcher themselves. Some of its examples
are interview, observations, surveys, focus group, etc.
Secondary research which involves the summary of data and literature that has been
organized and published by others. Examples include journal articles, reviews and
academic books.

hoping to lunch their E-mall in coming future. The E-shop model, also known as E-
retailer or E-stores is a version of a retail stores where consumer can buy the goods at
any time as their convenient

REVIEW OF WEBSITE
The aim of DealAyo is to be people’s first choice when they are looking for top-quality
and affordable online shopping in Nepal. Similarly, their current mission is to provide
easy and enjoyable shopping experiences to consumers across the country and make
their life convenient and the vision is to build the most customer-centric e-commerce
platform in Nepal.
Now, if we talk about the background of the organization then, when it was first
launched in 2016, DealAyo was a partnership firm, which was later owned solely by
Mr. Mahato (CEO). According to Mr. Mahato, the concept behind the logo of the
company is based upon the spiritual belief of his co-partner. His fellow partner was
deeply religious and thought of opening the organization with the blessings of Sri
Ganesh and that’s how the logo was designed for DealAyo.
In today’s date, DealAyo has a total capital of 1 crore from 25 lakhs first capital. Within
the time frame of 5 years, DealAyo has been able to make a present turnover of more
than 20 crores. With good figures and numbers, DealAyo has set a target to reach all
over Nepal as an honest and reliable e-commerce portal in the upcoming 10 years. The
target customers of DealAyo, for now, are all Nepalese people, especially the age group
between 20 to 60years.

Place- They take orders and guarantee to deliver them to places with proper roads
facility. Moreover, their order tracking service allows one to see when their order will
be delivered. In addition, it offers free delivery to its customers in Kathmandu.

Price- DealAyo makes online shopping in Nepal the ideal way to find quality products
at low prices. They source quality products carefully, buy in bulk and pass on their
savings to us, in the form of lower prices and great discounts.
Promotion- For promotional activities, they use social media marketing (like Facebook
and Instagram), search engine optimization (Organic), and Video marketing for the
early phase (TikTok). Blog marketing and Email marketing are not used by DealAyo
as promotional tools.

They encourage any customer who has doubts about the authenticity of products to send
an email to them and they can provide them verification of source they used to acquire
the product from manufacturer.

2.5 Notification Management
Notifications contain user-specific information about changes made to items in which
the user has an interest, or tasks the user must perform. The user can view them by
clicking the envelope icon in the top right of the window. Examples are updates to a
flowchart or mailing list, or reminders about a deadline for an assigned task.
DealAyo.com notify the changes made on it, with new updates and requirements the
notification pops up in the home page of our DealAyo.com account. They also send
email as well as make calls to the registered customers in their private accounts. The
customers’ needs to sign well receive note once they receive ordered product to assure
received product is in good condition. The person can check the products to be assured
that the product is ok.

Once buyer likes something he/she place an order by clicking buy now. After this text
message email is sent with code to validate to purchase. If the buyer validates it the
seller is responsible for the calling of the buyer confirming the order answering to any
necessary queries and delivery the product. If the buyer is unable to validate the order
a customer service from DealAyo.com call the buyer and validate the order and mention
above. This process takes about 2-5 working days and buyer usually get it by then
unless there are any issues.

Now days, most of the people perform online shopping for their ease. In addition, with
this, it might be said that dealayo.com always relies upon the dealers or suppliers of
products because they are not storing the product. They use just in time method in
buying and selling process. They just work as the middleman between seller and buyers.
When dealayo.com get order from consumers, then only they order the same product
from the seller to sale to the related buyers.
From the above survey, we could find out that thulo.com is on the way of the successful
online shops in Nepal. Online shopping had been increasing now days. Dealayo.com
will face lots of challenges in future as e-commerce industries in Nepal is growing.
Ebay.com, sastodeal.com, hamrobazar.com, flipkart.com, amazon.com, and etc. are the
competitors of thulo.com. So for being the best online e-commerce company of Nepal,
it need to provide best customer services with the best selling price, better quality, best
promotional tools which helps to increase the number of customers.
After analyzing the survey statistics and secondary data, we have tried to narrate them
with my report objectives. Furthermore, I have tried to find out customer expectation
and perception about dealayo.com. The findings are given below:

From our survey on the consumers’ review of the dealayo.com, we found the major
factors affecting online shopping.
The major factor affecting the online shopping is the price of the product which they
are buying. If the price of product is higher than the price while buying in the offline
store, they don’t want to buy from online websites.
Consumers also prefer the online shopping if there is the facility of free shipping.
Shipping cost increase the price of product; thus consumer doesn’t prefer high cost
products.
