ITEM I

The class teacher at your school prepares manual report cards for students. However, many
parents have complained about delays and errors in these report cards. To address this, the
teacher has decided to use a computer to design a professional report card that can be filled
out digitally for each student. Unfortunately, the class teacher has limited ICT skills.

As a senior two student skilled in ICT, your task is to assist the Class teacher by creating a
report card that includes the following features:
1. School information: the school name, address and the log at the top of the report card
2. Student information with fields with student’s name, class, Stream, Term, and year.
3. Subjects and grades in a table of atleast eight subjects, their respective grades and
teacher initials and comments.
4. Total Marks and Average.
5. Teacher’s Remarks and Signature.
6. Parent/Guardian Signature.

Task:
Help the class teacher to design the above report card.

ITEM 2

Your school has been approached by Hope Care Uganda a charity organisation that supports
orphans in your community. The organisation wants to showcase their work, connect with
donors, and provide information on how orphans can receive assistance. They have requested
your class to assist in designing a simple online platform that reflects their mission and vision.

Currently, the organization relies on posters and word-of-mouth to spread awareness which has
proven to be ineffective in reaching a wider audience.

An online platform would allow them to attract more donors and provide real-time updates
about their programs. They believe this will enhance their visibility and ensure orphans receive
the support they need more efficiently. They need a section about the history of the
organisation and the team behind it, a home page with a welcoming message, a log of the
organisation, images of the organisation and a summary of its mission. A Program page
about the programs they offer to support orphans such education, shelter and health care. A
contact us page including a form for people to send inquiries or pledges to support the
organisation, Goals and Objectives Pages that includes all the goals and objectives of setting up
Hope care Uganda organisation.

Task:

As a senior two student with ICT skills, Design an online platform for Hope Care Uganda.
Use the information saved as Hope Care Uganda in the support file provided where
necessary.
