1. Do you think it’s true that travel broadens the mind?

Yes, I do. Travel can broaden the mind as long as one is open to the new experiences, traditions,
cultures, and beliefs that they will encounter. If there's no acceptance and willingness to learn about
others then no matter how many countries you go to...you will still be narrow-minded.
2. How have holidays changed over the past few decades?

In many ways. First, the availability of new modern forms of transport has enabled
people to go further than in the past. Second, tourists nowadays are provided with the best
service than ever before. And third, the number of holiday-makers is on the rise because life
quality, on the whole, has been improved.

3. Do you think It’s safer to travel now than in the past?

Sure, it is. There used to be many traffic catastrophes in the past due to low levels of
technology. But people have drawn much experience from those and have improved safety
standards. Second, people are better-taken care of thanks to the development of tourism in
comparison with the past when travelers didn’t have a decent place to stay and hygienic food to
eat.
4. Why do some people prefer to travel abroad rather than in their own country?
I believe there are two potential explanations for this issue. One of the reasons is their desire to
immerse themselves in unfamiliar and unique cultural experiences. Another potential motive could be the
desire to flaunt their contentment with a leisurely lifestyle, thereby inciting envy among those in their
vicinity. The first one can be considered satisfactory and worthy of support, whereas the second one is
humorous.
5. Describe a journey that you remember well
This journey took place when I just started university, and I needed to visit my
youngest uncle in a city, far away from my hometown, where he just had started his first job. So,
naturally, I was quite excited. We were told that it would be a 6 to 7 hours journey and that the train
would travel nonstop at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Anyway, I remember every minute of this
journey so well, mainly because I never traveled on a train that ran so fást. I remember it also because the
service on that train was awesome. Finally, I also tried some of the most delicious foods I have ever
eaten, and that too at an affordable price! I have been lucky to have several memorable journeys over the
years.
