The Data Protection Act 2018 governs how we use personal data. For details of how we will
use your personal information and who we may share it with please see our Privacy Notice
for the Border, Immigration and Citizenship system at

immigration-and-citizenship. This also explains your key rights under the Act, how you can
access your personal information and how to complain if you have concerns.
The decision
• I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you
meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 to V4.6 of Appendix V: Immigration
Rules for Visitors because:
• You state that you are travelling to the UK for 8 days for tourism.
• You state that you are self-employed and that you have an annual salary of £32200
and another income of £6730 per year. You state that you have £76500 in savings
and will be personally paying £2800 towards your visit and that nobody else will be
paying.
• The onus is on you, the applicant, to show that you meet the requirements of the
immigration rules based on your overall personal circumstances and that you will
comply with all the conditions associated with any visa. In order to come to my
decision, I have considered not only the documents stated below, but all of the
documents you have provided regarding your circumstances.
• You have declared an additional annual income of £6730). The documents and
information provided do not demonstrate how this is calculated to get this additional
income or the origin of the funds, I am not satisfied that you financial circumstances
are as stated.
• In support of your application, you have provided Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for the
year dated 2024-2025, however upon reviewing this I note that the total declared
annual income is 7206420 INR (£67474 where £1= 106.80 INR as per oanda.com on
23/12/2024), this is significantly more than your annual declared income on the visa
application form and severely damages the credibility of your application.
• Supporting information, you have provided shows little insight into your family ties in
your home country. This taken together with the concerns regarding your economic
circumstances highlighted, I am not satisfied that you have demonstrated that you
have sufficient economic and familial ties to your home country, and you intend to
leave the UK at the end of your proposed stay.
• The factors mentioned above have not been taken in isolation but considered
collectively. They damage the overall credibility of your application. From the
information provided in support of your application, I am not satisfied that on the
balance of probabilities you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor, or that you
intend to limit your visit to the period stated by you.
• Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V.4.2 (a) and (c) of the
Immigration rules.
