observed to be 200lps (liter per second) of water and is found to increase
uniformly at a rate of 50l/s. Estimate Local, Convective, and total acceleration at
section 1.5m from the upstream end.

Also, deduce the expression for 𝝍, and find the discharge between two stream
lines at point P (4, 5) and Q (3,4).
Q14: For an incompressible flow represented by 𝝍 = 𝑥 2 − 𝑦 2 , Calculate the
value of total acceleration vector 𝞪 and show that it is proportional to radius
vector r.
Q15: What is the Flow net? Enumerate different methods of drawing flow nets.
