LET’S USE POWERPOINT 2010


I.ANSWER IN ONE SENTENCES:
1. What is the use of PowerPoint?
Ans: PowerPoint is one of the most popular software used for
creating beautiful and attractive presentations. It is developed
by Microsoft.
2.What is a presentation?
Ans: A PowerPoint presentation consists of a number of slides.
A slide is like an individual page in a document .
3. What is a slide?
Ans: Slide is present at the left side the PowerPoint window. It
displays thumbnails of the slides in a presentation.
4. What is a theme? Name any two theme in PowerPoint 2010.
Ans: A theme is a set of background designs ,font styles, colors
and layouts. Austin theme and Elemental theme.
II.ANSWER THE FOLLOWING:
1. What is WordArt? How do you insert WordArt text on a
slide?
Ans: WordArt is used to insert attractive text in a slide .
1. Click on insert tab on the ribbon.
2. Click on WordArt from the text group .A gallery appears
with different WordArt styles.
3. Click the style of your choice .A WordArt textbox
appears on the slide with ‘Your text here ‘ written in it.
4. Replace the text with your text and click outside it.
2. What is a Slide Show? Write the steps to view Slide Show.
Ans: Slide Show means presenting all the slides, one by one, on
a full screen. Viewing a slide show means to have a look at how
the actual presentation looks.
1. Click on Slide Show tab on the Ribbon.
2. Click on from beginning or from current slide in the start slide
show group.
3. How will you insert a picture in a slide?
Ans: We can insert pictures in a slide using Picture command.
1. Click on Insert tab on the Ribbon.
2. Click on Pictures from the Images group .The Insert picture
dialog box appears.
3. Select the picture to be inserted.
4. Click on Insert button.
