Research Project Title: THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ECO-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE INK OF COFFEE GROUNDS ON
ENVIRONMENTAL OF GRADE 12 STEM STUDENTS ON STI SAN JOSE DEL MONTE BULACAN

This informed consent form has two (2) parts: (a) information sheet that is intended to share information
about the study and (b) mandatory consent form) where your written decision to participate or not in the
study is indicated.

INFORMATION SHEET
1. Introduction
This study examines whether coffee ground ink is a suitable environmentally friendly alternative for
traditional ink given its growing environmental impact. It seeks to determine how STI San Jose del
Monte, Bulacan, Grade 12 STEM students can be encouraged to be more sustainable by using coffee
ground ink.
2. Purpose of the Study
Through feedback from students, this study seeks to determine how Grade 12 STEM students'
environmental awareness is affected by the use of eco-friendly coffee ground ink. It also aims to assess
the ink's possible advantages, like waste reduction and encouraging environmentally responsible
practices in school.
3. Study Procedures
Participants will answer an online survey using a Likert scale to measure their perceptions of coffee
ground ink as an eco-friendly alternative. This method will allow us to gather data on the effectiveness
and suitability of coffee ground ink for environmental purposes in the future.
4. Duration
This research started on February 22, 2025 at STI College of San Jose Del Monte Bulacan and will end
in May 2025.

5. Voluntary Participation
Participants are invited to voluntarily take part in this study, with the assurance that their decision to
participate or withdraw will be respected, and no consequences will arise from their choice.
6. Confidentiality
The researchers will ensure the confidentiality of participants' responses and identities, with only the
researchers having access to the data gathered. Measures will be taken to protect the privacy and
anonymity of the participants.
