Job Description:
The ISO 9001 Quality Management Specialist will lead the development, implementation, and continual
improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards. The role
supports the bank’s mission to maintain excellence in service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational
efficiency. The candidate must have experience in the banking or financial sector, with specific exposure to
development banking and Qatar’s regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, implement, and manage a bank-wide Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO
9001:2015 requirements.
● Coordinate ISO 9001 certification, surveillance, and recertification audits with external certification bodies.
● Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure regulatory compliance is embedded in QMS processes.
● Conduct internal quality audits and facilitate external audits, ensuring readiness and closure of
non-conformities.
● Develop and maintain quality documentation, including the Quality Manual, policies, SOPs, and process
flowcharts.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support quality-related change management across
departments.
● Provide training and awareness programs on ISO 9001 and quality management principles to staff across
levels.
● Monitor and report on key quality indicators and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
● Advise leadership on QMS performance, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
● Support integration of ISO 9001 QMS with other frameworks, such as ISO 27001 (Information Security) or
ISO 22301 (Business Continuity), where applicable.
Qualifications:
Experience:
● Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in quality management systems within a banking or
financial institution, preferably a development bank.
● Proven track record of successful ISO 9001 implementation and certification projects.
● Familiarity with Qatari financial regulations, QCB guidelines, and internal governance frameworks.
● Experience working with cross-functional teams and external regulatory bodies.

● In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard and quality management principles.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
● Excellent communication, facilitation, and training capabilities.
● High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Proficiency in MS Office tools; experience with QMS platforms is a plus.
