Eda - Mr. Quickie Pitx

The document presents an electrical design analysis for the proposed Mr. Quickie project in PITX, Paranaque City, focusing on voltage drop calculations and short circuit analysis. It includes detailed calculations based on Philippine Electrical Code and provides results for various electrical circuits, confirming that all voltage drops are within acceptable limits. Additionally, it outlines assumptions and methodologies for short circuit calculations, concluding with recommended circuit breaker ratings.

III. Short Circuit Calculations and Analysis
(Manual computation)

1. Due to the absence of the available fault duty at the tapping

point, the following assumptions were made: Utility fault duty
and impedance, transformer X/R Ratio and other motor
impedances and fault contributions.
2. Single Line Diagram should be simplified to reflect only the
needed data. It should be redrawn with reflected impedances
prior to the manual computation of impedances. Only the
elements that contribute faults shall be included in the
impedance diagram.
3. Identify and decide which bus or node shall be faulted for the
sizing of the protection. All bus shall be faulted for better
appreciation of the short circuit calculation.
