Welcome to The Bonnie Badger.

Our philosophy, From Nature to Plate, is a true celebration of our passion for the
finest, freshest Scottish seasonal produce.
Head Chef Alex Politis and Chef Tom Kitchin have created a menu that celebrates
outstanding local and seasonal produce, thanks to a close relationship with nearby
farmers, fishermen, producers, and suppliers.
The produce we showcase is sourced straight from the suppliers, allowing full
traceability. We are dedicated to supporting independent local businesses - our seafood is
sustainably sourced from family-run businesses such as Welch’s, David Lowrie. All fish
and shellfish are treated with the greatest respect and prepared daily in our kitchen.
Meat and game arrive whole, in furs and feathers, and we do all the butchering in-house.
Our meat is sourced locally from East Lothian and all over Scotland. Our kitchen team
also forage locally, sourcing plants, sea herbs and mushrooms from the enviable East
Lothian coast.
Here at The Bonnie Badger, we are committed to supporting our local community and to
helping make a difference to the lives of young people. We have a long-running charity
programme, and we will be supporting Cash for Kids.

We have therefore taken the liberty to add £1 to every bill which will this month be given
directly to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people who are
living on our doorstep in our local communities.

If you do not wish to participate, or should you wish to donate a larger amount, please
make us aware.

Thank you for your support and enjoy your visit!

For all reservations, an optional gratuity of 12.5% will be added to your bill in accordance
with our T&Cs.
