Ibuprofen: Prepared by Nirozh Farhad Zamoo Mohammed

Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain, fever, and inflammation. It was discovered in 1961 and first marketed in the UK and US in the 1960s-70s under various trade names like Advil and Motrin. Ibuprofen works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain. It is commonly used at dosages of 200-400 mg to treat conditions like headaches, toothaches, back pain, arthritis, and minor injuries, though high doses or long-term use may increase risks of heart attack, stroke, or stomach bleeding.
