 Cortana Overview

Cortana is a virtual assistant designed by Microsoft. Cortana uses the Bing search engine to fulfill search requests
made by the user. Cortana is there to set reminders and answer questions for the user to provide quick and easy
access to information.
  Cortana will help you remember important
appointments, assignments, dates, etc. so
that you are never late or forgetful.
 Cortana can help you find important
information or files quickly and efficiently.
Cortana –  You can communicate with Cortana either
by speaking or typing.
Advantages  Cortana is useful for helping people
discover the many components of Windows
and how to use Windows 10.
 Cortana can conveniently give you simple
information such as the current time, date,
or weather.
  The more you use Cortana, the more
personalized she becomes. This may sound
like an advantage, but actually it’s a little
creepy. Cortana becomes more and more
personalized because she collects all sorts of
information – your information. Cortana
collects your contacts, location, calendar data,
text and email content, and communication
history. 
Cortana –  You can use Cortana from the lock screen.
Again disguised as an advantage this is a little
Disadvantages frightening. This means that Cortana is active
and listening to you even when your PC is
locked!
 Cortana also allows hackers to break into a
Windows 10 PC using voice commands –
even when it is locked. Cortana is always
listening. Although this is meant to make your
life easier, it means that anyone can issue
voice commands to your computer!
Microsoft Edge Overview:

Developed by Microsoft, Microsoft Edge is the default web browser on all new Windows
computers. It was made to replace Internet Explorer and runs faster and with more
features.
  Microsoft Edge has the best browser
privacy and security you can get. It is
defended against fake websites,
suspicious websites, and hacking.
 Microsoft Edge is a very high-speed
browser.
Microsoft Edge  Microsoft Edge provides other helpful
– Advantages components such as a reading mode that
eliminates adds and other distractions
providing more comfortable and
convenient text reading settings, virtual
voice activated assistance from Cortana, a
reading list that you can save web pages
to, and much more.
  Microsoft Edge does not have Extension
Support.
 Adding search engines is not easy in Microsoft
Edge and switching between them is also a pain.
 In Edge there is not an option to save web pages
Microsoft Edge in HTML file format.
 You cannot access the browser history list from
– Disadvantages Edge through Settings. It only allows deleting the
history list. To access browsing history you must
go through the search engine bar, which can be
confusing.
 Microsoft Edge also lacks a feature for switching
between multiple user profiles.

Microsoft Store is a digital store that offers tons of digital content for
download in one place. Some things in Microsoft store are accessible
for free and some at cost.
 Microsoft Store makes it easy for users to download and install
their favorite third-party applications.

are given. This prevents shady behavior and tampering and using
Microsoft Store you are way less likely to come across dangerous
apps.

– Disadvantages well. At times downloads fail or

explanation.

 Many of the apps downloaded
from Microsoft Store still have
some bugs.
