Information is available from wide range of sources this
is know is information sources.
There are 2 types of information sources:-
1. Primary information sources.
2. Secondary information sources.

What is primary source?


Which are those that you have
created yourself.
Are original documents containing
first hand information about a
topic. They allow researchers to get
as close as possible to original
ideas.

What is secondary information?


Secondary sources are work that
are written after the original
written documents published
after original experience.
It summarizes or discuss
information or details originally
presented in another author; the
author did not participate in most
of the event.

Search engine.
The goal of search engine is to provide user with search result
that lead to relevant information.
How does a search engine work?
Search engine compares the key word entered by the user with
the words in the database of the webpage and then shows user
the result that are the closest match.
Some examples search engine are given below:-

 Is a significant word used to find
information when researching.
 When you are looking for “resume
example” and you type “resume
example” into Google the word “resume
example” are an example of “keyword.”

Is a rule that dictates how words and phrases are used in
language, including complete language.
These syntax will give you more specific results:-
AND (+) – Adding + between both words Will feed on the results
that match both words
NOT (-) – Adding – before a will feed back only the results that
don’t include both words.
PHRASES MATCHING (“ ”) – Placing speech mark around phrases
will feed the results that include the whole phrase.

What is plagiarism?
If you use another persons works and fail to state its that it is
theirs and not yours then you are committing plagiarism.
How to avoid Plagiarism?
1. Is by rewriting.
2. By paraphrasing information.
3. By understanding their meaning and expressing it in your own
words.
