Advance rescue and monitoring

robot for coal mine


Abstract
 When a disaster occurs, such as an earthquake, a
robot crawling through the disaster areas arrives more
and more, helping firefighters and rescue teams to
work more securely. Such a robot crawling through the
disaster areas for inspection is the small robot. This
project presents the designing of a segmented small
robot to inspect narrow and hard-to reach volumes.
small robots can use their many internal degrees of
freedom to thread through tightly packed volumes
accessing locations that people and machinery
otherwise cannot use. Finally, after designing, the
command and control of this special robot are
presented.
Introduction
• In case of a disaster, a robot crawling through the
disaster areas arrives more and more, helping
firefighters and rescue teams to work more securely.
Such a robot crawling through the disaster areas for
inspection is the small robot. The robot has a
segmented constructional structure similar to a small
and is designed to inspect narrowly accessible tight
spaces with rugged and very rough terrain
Existing system
• The current system used in detection of
problems safety include sensors which are
incorporated in a industrial or other area.
• Sensor Datas are monitored using Wires or
LAN
Challenges
• Not suitable for all regions
• Application is less
• No remedial measures undertaken by the
system by itself
The Research on Safety Monitoring System of Coal
Mine Based on Spatial Data Mining

• Based on the characteristics of coal mine safety


information - activity, dynamic changes, closely
related to the space, this paper puts forward the
project about the safety monitoring system of
coal mine based on spatial data mining ,and
builds a coal mine safety monitoring system
model based on spatial data mining and GIS
technology. The safety monitoring system of coal
mine will fundamentally reduce the occurrence
of coal mine disasters, and improve the level of
coal mine safety management.
Development of coal mine safety supervision system of
methane monitoring substation

• Coal mine methane monitoring substation is an important


component of coal mine production safety monitoring
system, it and flameproof and intrinsically safe power
supply and a variety of mine sensors together, monitor and
control for environment parameters of mine remember
parameters at the central station management. In RS485
communication system for data exchange means, so
compared to the traditional monitoring system, there are
obvious advantages in wiring, data transmission error.
Performance of methane monitoring substation based on
the reliable, stable operation, high efficiency of data
transmission, monitoring of the environment in a timely
and effective. On the safety production of coal mine, and
play a certain role.
Literature survey
• Experimental Research On Radar Remote Sensing Monitoring of Coal Mining
Subsidence in Loess Mining Area

The Loess covered areas include Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu and other
provinces and is the main coal production base. The Loess Plateau is characterized
by varied topography, complicated geological and geomorphic conditions and
large thickness of mining coal seam, which results in many types of geological
hazards, wide distribution and great threat. Therefore, it is very necessary to
monitor the surface deformation by full coverage and all-weather monitoring. The
vertical deformation information with high accuracy can be obtained by using D-
InSAR technology. Compared with the traditional monitoring method, it has the
advantages of high resolution, high coverage, all-weather measurement and low
cost. With the continuous development of this technology, the surface subsidence
monitoring technology of D-InSAR is gradually introduced to the ground
subsidence monitoring of the coal mine area.

Proposed system
• Here the system uses sensor to detect gases
and fire in industrial area
• The signals from the sensors in robot are fed
to the adc of the microcontroller where the
analog to digital conversion takes place
• The parameters are sent via the esp8266
through which we can monitor it remotely via
wifi in IOT

driving a brushless motor one segment can describe an
complex trajectory consisting of moving in the horizontal
plane.
