Aequatio motus est aequatio mathematica, quae motum obiecti physici.

Generaliter aequatio motus constituitur acceleratione obiecti in functione eius positionis, celeritatis, massae et cunctis variabilibus, quae affectant unam ex eis. Illa aequatione praesertim in mechanica classica utuntur et assuete sub forma coordinatarum sphaericarum, cylindricarum vel cartesianarum repraesentatur et leges motus Newtoni respectat.
