Dear Madam:

Greetings!

I respectfully and formally submit this letter of intent that I will be applying for a promotion of
Teacher II. I can truly say that I have gained sufficient and adequate knowledge and skills to take
my career and professional endeavor into the next level.

I am Queenie Marie O. Alas, 23 years old and of good health, I am presently working as a Senior
High School teacher at Carmen National High School with a Teacher I position. As of the moment,
I have been serving the Department of Education for two years. In terms of my educational
background, I am currently taking up Master in Business Administration at the University of the
Immaculate Conception in Bonifacio St., Davao City and earned 39 units so far. I finished my
bachelor’s degree at the Ateneo de Davao University in Jacinto St., Davao City with a degree of
Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology and earned 27 Education units at North Davao
Colleges, Panabo City.

Since then, I have been working on advancing and improving student learning by applying new
knowledge and concepts which I also learned in my current postgraduate studies. Over the years,
I have improved my skills more through various trainings, workshops, seminars, and even my
experiences as a teacher. I have also demonstrated a good working relationship with my co-
teachers, administrators, and staff. I have been consistently earning very satisfactory scores in
my RPMS by my master teacher and raters for the past 2 years.

Attached herewith are the pertinent documents necessary for your perusal. I appreciate your
consideration and I am looking forward to discussing this opportunity for promotion with you at
your convenience. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide that will
support my application for promotion.
