Anaesthesia Machine Model Siesta

facturing and material defects for a period of
one year from the date of delivery.

DAMECA a/s will repair or replace all defective


components during the period of guarantee,
provided (1) that the apparatus has been used
correctly in accordance with the instructions for
use and (2) that the instructions for maintenance
have been observed carefully.

Defective products or components must be

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 General

6.2 Maximum Allowable Leaks

Connect the machine to central outlets

of approx. 2.5 (100 kPa) for at least 7 sec.

___ 6. By-pass valve Activate the by-pass valve and measure the O2 flow at

7.9 Adjustments

O2 alarm: Ejector (AGS):

MINOXYGUARD:

2. Connect a calibrated O2 monitor and an


evacuation unit to the gas outlet.

3. Fully open the N2O regulator at the front


of the MINOXYGUARD.

4. Slowly open the O2 regulator at the front


of the MINOXYGUARD to a flow of
250 ml/min.

5. Adjust the adjustment screw 1 at the back


of the MINOXYGUARD until the floater
of the N2O rotameter tube just move.

6. Close the O2 regulator, and re-open it


slowly to check that the N2O flow will
start at an O2 flow of 250 - 300 ml/min.

7. Repeat step 4, 5 and 6 until the opening


flow is correct. Adjustment screws are accessible through
holes in the back of the MINOXYGUARD.
8. Open the O2 regulator to an O2 flow of
2 L/min.
