S.No ACTIVITY STATUS

1. Access to the bus-bar enclosures and surrounding area is satisfactory

2. Permanent and adequate lighting is available.

3. Labelling & identification of phases is correct,easily seen and permanent

4. All insulators are tight and fitted satisfactorily

5. Insulators visually inspected for any damage,surface cracks or abnormalities

6. Check correct clearances are maintained

7. Checking of general cleanliness for bus,insulators and busduct by opening


inspection covers.

8. Check end termination tightness and clearance. Also ensure that bi-metallic
strips are provided if material of bus duct and same of bus bar are different.

9. Ensure that breathers are provided and silica gel color is blue

10. Ensure that no part of bus duct is open and supports are permanent.

11. Ensure that bus duct earthing is done properly.

12. Check all enclosure internals are clean,dry and free from any loose material.

13. Check all busbar joints are bolted &tightness is satisfactory.

14. Check for correct functioning of drain taps/plug (if fitted) for correct
opening & closing. Ensure easy accessing of these plugs.

15. Check IR value of Space heater circuit in all phases.

16. Ensure rain hoods are provided for Bus ducts

17. Ensure Wall frame structures are provided

18. Ensure duct are palced on permanent supports

19. Sectionalizing of space heater circuit, Ensure power supply extension to various
sections of space heater circuit from different sources.
