-Welcoming Guest Script-

Waiter: Good Morning Sir, welcome to Locloc Hotel & Restaurant, do you have any
reservation?

If guest says none


Guest: None
Waiter: May I suggest a table for you?
Guest: Yes
Waiter: Smoking or non-smoking area sir?
Guest: Non-smoking area.
Waiter: (lead the guest to the front desk for reservation details, then lead the guest to
his table)

If guest says Yes


Guest: Yes
Waiter: (lead the guest to the front desk for reservation details, then lead the guest to
his table)

Waiter: Will this table do Sir?


Guest: Yes
Waiter: Have a sit sir. (Pull the chair for the guest to sit)
Guest: Thank you
Waiter: Excuse me sir, may I now lay down your table napkin?
Guest: Yes please
Waiter:(Serve water to the guest about ¾ of the water goblet.)
Waiter: (Present the menu) Excuse me sir, here’s our menu for your selection.
Guest: Thank you.
Waiter: Please call my attention if you’re ready to order.
Guest: (Signal if you’re ready to order)
Waiter: Yes sir, Can I now get your order?
Guest: Yes. I want (select juice, wine, appetizer, soup, salad, main dish, & dessert)
Waiter: Would that be all sir?
Guest: Yes that’s all.
Waiter: For clarification, may I repeat your order sir? You ordered (repeat the order of the
guest)…………..Did I get your order right?
Guest: Yes
Waiter: May I get back the menu?
Guest:Yes
Waiter: (Get the menu)
Waiter: Sir your order will be served within 15 minutes, do you mind waiting?
Guest: No. I don’t mind waiting.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am. (Proceed to the kitchen to give the order slip. Serve once
prepared.)
-Room Service Script-
Part 1

Waiter: Thank you for calling room service, _____________ speaking, how may I help you?
Guest: I would like to order breakfast in my room please.
Waiter: Ok Ma’am, May I know your name and room number?
Guest: I’m Shasteen and I’m staying at room 505
Waiter: Noted Ma’am, Breakfast for how many Ma’am?
Guest: Breakfast for 2 please.
Waiter: Okay Ma’am, Our Hotel offers two types of breakfast, Filipino and American breakfast, which one
do you prefer?
If Guest Says Filipino
Waiter: The Filipino Breakfast is a combination of Rice, egg and side dish
Waiter: For the rice, it’s a selection of adobo rice, binagoongan rice & garlic rice, which one do you prefer?
Guest: (chooses rice)
Waiter: Noted Ma’am, how would you like the egg to be prepared? Boiled, Omelet or Sunny side-up?
Guest: (chooses egg preparation)
Waiter: Okay, how about for your side-dish, we offer beef tapa, dried fish, hotdog, longanisa and tocino,
which one do you choose?
Guest: (chooses side dish)
If Guest Says American
Waiter: The American Breakfast is a combination of Bread, egg and side dish
Waiter: For the bread, it’s a selection of wheat bread, French toast, pancake and waffle, which one do you
prefer?
Guest: (chooses bread)
Waiter: Noted Ma’am, how would you like the egg to be prepared? Boiled, Omelet or Sunny side-up?
Guest: (chooses egg preparation)
Waiter: Okay, how about for your side-dish, we offer bacon, ham, hotdog and sausage, which one do you
choose?
Guest: (chooses side dish)

Waiter: Okay Ma’am, for coffee, it’s a selection of brewed coffee, brown coffee and cappuccino which do
you prefer?
Guest: (chooses coffee)
Waiter: Good Choice Ma’am, how about for your juice, it’s a selection of iced tea, orange juice and
pineapple juice?
Guest: (chooses juice)
Waiter: Noted Ma’am. Would you like to order fresh fruits for your dessert?
Guest: Yes Please.
Waiter: We offer apple, dragon fruit, grapes, mangoes and strawberry, which do you prefer?
Guest: (chooses fruit)
Waiter: Splendid choice Ma’am. Do you have any special request Ma’am?

Waiter. Okay Ma’am, for clarification, may I repeat your order?

Part 2 (Room Service Delivery)

Waiter: (Place the cart in front of the room, knock three times gently and announce room service)
Room Service.
Guest: Come in room service.
Waiter: Good Morning! Here’s your breakfast. I’m ___________________, your room service attendant.
Where would you like to have your breakfast, in the tray or in the table?

If in the tray:
(Leave the food in the tray)

If in the table:
(Set-up the food in the table)
Waiter: Okay Ma’am. Your breakfast is served. Do you have any other request?
(Offer two services)
 Do you want me to open the television so you can watch the latest news?
 Do you want me to open the window so you can feel the morning breeze?
 Do you want me to open the curtain so you can see the wonderful view?
 Do you want me to mix your coffee?

(Ask the guest the time for clear-up)


Waiter: Ma’am/Sir when is the best time for me to come back for the clear-up of soiled dishes?
Guest: After 1 hour will do.
Waiter: Noted Ma’am/Sir. I’ll be back after an hour. Enjoy your breakfast.

Part 3 (Room Service Clear-up)


Waiter: (Place the cart in front of the room, knock three times gently and announce room service)
Room Service.
Guest: Come in room service.
Waiter: Hello Ma’am/Sir, I’m here for the clear-up of soiled dishes. Are you done with your breakfast?
Guest: Yes
Waiter: Okay Ma’am/Sir. Excuse me Ma’am. (Clear-up the soiled dishes)
Waiter: Ma’am may I present to you the receipt?
Guest: Yes
Waiter: Here’s your receipt Ma’am.
