1. Would you choose local products over products from these foreign companies? Why?

For me, I will choose the local products because the money will remain in my country. If the
local products become popular, they will represent my country better. There will be more
opportunities and benefits.

2. With what you have listed, do you have ideas where and when these companies
started to produce goods?

Avon is one of my favorite brands. They started to produce goods in 1886. He offered little gifts
of perfume to his female customers instead of the books he was selling. He shifted focus to
perfume because it became more popular than the books he was selling.

3. What do you think is the relation of consuming products to our subject?

The relation to our subject is to highlight the importance of the quality of their products to
aware the companies to understand the expectations of their consumers better, to adjust or
change their products to be better and to know the significance and impact of the consumer on
a company’s corporate performance by accepting new roles that consumers have in the
contemporary world by presenting and analyzing them.

4. What is the difference between the standard of living and the quality of life?

Standard of living it is about power, quality, material goods, and level of wealth. In short, it
refers to how well or poorly a person or group of people lives in terms of having their needs
and desires met. The term "quality of life" refers to having a good worth that can be measured
in terms of happiness and satisfaction.

5. What are some ways you can assess the standard of living?

I can assess based on easily quantifiable factors such as the amount of goods and services available for
purchase, the amount of income, employment opportunities, and wealth. Also, how well or poorly a
person lives in terms of their needs and desires.
