Background
In today's world of dwindling resources, overflowing landfills, and plastic pollution in the ocean, recycling has become
almost second nature. Protecting and preserving the natural world we live in is made easier with recycling. Utilizing
old materials conserves energy that would otherwise be spent creating new ones. The environment needs to be
protected for future generation s.
Objectives
● Giving more benefit to something we think is no longer useful and will make it more profitable.
● To promote, pursue and expand recycling opportunities
● Educate public and municipalities on the benefit of reducing, reusing and recycling materials that would otherwise
be sent to the landfill
Scope
The goal of the project is to make something new using throw away objects like any material or recycle, and the most
exciting is to help keep the environment clean and also to earn money using this recycled material. Make it more
useful even if it’s already discarded and also, to educate other people to be more creative using throw away things.
The good thing is our project has a lot of good impact on our environment.
Target Beneficiary
Our target beneficiary includes housewives living in Zinc Interior Malanday Marikina City. They are the ones who are
good when it comes to sewing and this is a great opportunity because even at home they can earn income to support
their family needs.
Key Members
Phase One - Initiation Separating tasks for each member how can we make money to raise
funds, who will handle the fund and how we will start our project.
Phase Two - Planning The important part of our project we have already decided who will be
assigned to each task and we thought carefully about the flow of the
project from start to the end
Phase Three - Implementation Each member has their own tasks everybody sells “kalakal” so we can
have a fund to start our project then send the money to the group member
to buy materials and he will take it to the member who will make a bag to
be sold by other group members thru facebook and messenger or social
media all transactions are online
Phase Four - Evaluation Since all transactions we do are online for compliance with covid protocols
and safety of each member In this phase we have shared with many the
importance of innovating especially in the environment so that we can
expand our thinking on the things that we just throw away and make it
more reflective and we have also made a “matbag” that is fashionable and
useful at an insignificant price.
