Rules that every college student should adopt in their school and daily
life regarding mobile phone use.
Below are some satisfactory remedies regarding the use of mobile pone:
Create a disconnected zone: Disconnect all devices, turn off Wi-Fi, and keep
them far away or out of range.
Remove unnecessary apps and those that tend to be addictive.
Schedule a time window to limit your use within this window.
Stop replacing phones as a means of entertainment.
Develop productive habits to combat loneliness.
Seek advice, guidance and help in difficult situations.
Explore new paths in life; seek the physical presence of friends and family.
Develop new work schedules and strategically accommodate various tasks to
avoid long hours alone that can lead to MPA.
Always prefer tasks that do not require the use of a mobile phone in any way
as such, even if it may be difficult.
Suggestions to decrease the use of mobiles.
Keep the cell phone on silent
Try to leave the smartphone in silent mode so that the notification sounds
(increasingly frequent) do not take your attention away.
Avoid games and social networks
Taking a few minutes of rest to recharge your energy and recover your spirits is
important. In this sense, the smartphone can help you, but be very careful: games
and social networks can end up stealing all your attention.
Set aside a few minutes to exchange messages and check your email
Turn off distracting notifications
Even with your phone, notifications still appear on your screen and that's where your
concentration goes. Even if you don't see the smartphone prompt, those little
inattentive moments add up at the end of the day. Not to mention that, with each
new notification, the temptation to take a look at the cell phone grows.

Establish a healthy usage routine (even if it's hard)

Put all these tips together and establish a healthy routine with your smartphone at
work. Reserve small moments of rest to check the networks during the day, get used
to turning off notifications and leaving the device on silent.

Conclusion

Mobile phone addiction is a top secret disease that is affecting many phone users
these days. But as we lean towards introducing technology into every activity of our
lives, we become increasingly dependent on it. This dependency leads to addiction.
The problem of addiction can only be combated through the cooperation of various
bodies of people, such as educational institutions, government, workplace, etc. The
right way to maintain a synergistic balance between technology and its negative
effects is to understand its harmfulness and develop self-control and not give in to
foolish temptations.
