BASIC INFORMATION

PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC. has been established as an

educational institution in Northern Philippines by a group of professionals who have extensive
knowledge and experience in the fields of education, business and administration, finance, and
operational aspects of large corporate organizations where each of them has held corporate
position.

The institution specializes in the sphere of education both: Information and Communication
Technology, Tourism, Social and Other Community Development Services, and other Non-
Computer related courses with the goal of helping the students establish a solid foundation in
the field of work. PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC. is
meticulous in student attendance and preparation of training and practical/actual
demonstrations drill. Training curriculum are constantly updated to meet the needs of the
industry and students.

A unique feature of our course delivery is that all qualifications can be offered at three separate
times and schedules; morning, afternoon and evenings, thus allowing people the flexibility to
choose the study time that best suits them.

At PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC., class sizes are kept small
in order to allow and encourage an open and healthy learning environment. This allows for a
highly active, hands-on interaction and participation between both the student and their tutor as
well as between the students themselves to flourish.

PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC., constantly modifies the

technical and employability skills included in its courses, giving our students the complete
training they need to gain successful employment.

At present, PHIL is the only TESDA accredited training institution in Nueva Ecija with approved
full online modality in all of its approved qualifications.

FUTURE GOALS

 To develop pathways to enable students to continue with higher and more advanced
levels of learning. This will be done by developing strategic alliances and partnerships
between PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC., TESDA, and
Industry.

 Build closer relationships with the schools boards to encourage more school leavers to
choose PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC., for vocational
training. This will be carried out by increasing the active relationship that currently
exists between PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES

INC., and its alumnus.

 Continue to offer programs that allow people in the workplace to up-skill or re-train.

 To offer support to those people who are disadvantaged or in need. This will be done by
offering either full or partial scholarships. Suitable candidates are brought to the
attention of a PHILIPPINE ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC., by
various community groups that have a regular contact with PHILIPPINE ACADEMY
OF TECHNICAL STUDIES INC.

 Continue to develop high quality, high strategic and specialist Tech-Voc courses to train
students.

Philippine Academy of Technical Studies Inc., offers TESDA programs that unleashes the
potential of its graduates for wealth and job creation in the Hospitality industry. The course/
training program would develop in them a real understanding of the basic functions of their job
and its requirements in order to effectively discharge their duties and responsibilities.

We will however further customize the design to address the specific needs of our trainee/s as
well as conducting national assessment. Training needs analysis will have to be conducted to
ascertain which of the different group roles will have to be emphasized.
