ABSTRACT

Technology
The process of developing, designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software
applications that carry out particular tasks on a range of devices is known as software development.
Software development can be done for a variety of reasons, including problem-solving, service
provision, productivity enhancement, and user entertainment. Different kinds of software,
including system, programming, application, and embedded software, can also be involved in
software development. Programmers, software engineers, and developers are among the various
roles that can be involved in software development. They use a variety of tools, techniques, and
languages to create software.

Part I. Introduction
TechBuilders System Development

A technology company called TechBuilders System Development focuses on creating

custom apps and software. Among the many services they provide are the development of web,
mobile, server, and desktop applications. TechBuilders collaborates closely with businesses to
comprehend their requirements and offer customized solutions. They prioritize innovation while
keeping their development, testing, and deployment processes within a solid framework. The
company offers analytics and security consulting and implementation services with the goal of
revolutionizing the delivery of technology projects. To create unique software applications and
products, TechBuilders leverages a range of technologies, including Cross-Platform, Mobile, Web,
Analytics, Neural Network, IoT, Social, and Cloud. R.F.I.D. Turnstile, an advanced access control
and attendance tracking solution, led by Project Manager Mhed Dueñas, with contributions from
Assistant Manager Glezyl Gonzales, Programmer George Addam Alarcon, Web Developer
Stephann Brosas, Graphics Designers Ramil Rivera Aldover Jr. and John Joshua Porcalla, and
Documentation Analysts Jian Zamora and Yna Solis, aimed at revolutionizing access management
and attendance monitoring through their combined expertise in project management,
programming, web development, creative design, and comprehensive documentation.
RFID System

RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) is a technology that tracks and identifies tags

attached to objects using electromagnetic waves. A transceiver, a transponder, and a scanning
antenna are the three main parts of an RFID system. RFID readers, also known as interrogators,
are devices that combine a scanning antenna and transceiver. RFID readers come in two varieties:
stationary readers and portable readers.
The way an RFID system operates is as follows: the RFID tag, also called a transponder,
receives an electromagnetic pulse from the RFID reader and transmits digital data back to the
reader. An unique inventory number is typically included in this data, which can be utilized for
tracking inventory items or other purposes.

Part II. Background and Rationale.

Why is it made?
R.F.I.D. Turnstile is created to address the need for efficient access control and attendance
tracking in various environments, offering improved security, convenience, and data collection
capabilities. This innovative solution aims to streamline access management processes, enhance
security measures, and provide accurate attendance records, ultimately improving operational
efficiency and security for organizations and institutions.
The purpose is to tackle the widespread issues in attendance monitoring prevalent in
various industries. In a corporate office, the R.F.I.D. Turnstile project is implemented to regulate
access for employees and visitors. Employees use R.F.I.D. cards for seamless entry, while visitors
are issued temporary badges. The system records entries and exits, providing real-time attendance
data. Security personnel can monitor access and receive alerts when necessary, enhancing security
and simplifying access control for the organization.

• To provide a reliable and efficient solution for precise attendance tracking.

• To enhance security and accountability in the access control system.
Define the problem/is being addressed by the product/service.
(Monitoring attendance).

● The problem being addressed by the R.F.I.D. Turnstile product/service is the need for
efficient and accurate attendance monitoring in various settings such as offices, schools,
and events. Traditional methods of tracking attendance, like paper sign-in sheets or manual
headcounts, are often prone to errors and time-consuming. The R.F.I.D. Turnstile
automates this process, ensuring that attendance records are precise and easily accessible
in real-time, thereby improving efficiency and reducing the risk of inaccuracies.
● The problem stems from the inaccuracy and unreliability of traditional attendance tracking
methods, leading to disputes and errors.
● Manual attendance tracking is labor-intensive and error-prone, resulting in inefficiencies.
● Inadequate access control measures pose security risks and fail to meet modern standards
of data protection.

Business Motivations

Mission
Pioneering cutting-edge technology to revolutionize attendance accuracy, elevating access
control systems to ensure robust security measures, and implementing data-driven solutions for
more informed decision-making, our mission is to empower organizations across diverse sectors
by providing seamless, reliable, and efficient access management solutions that not only optimize
resource allocation but also enhance operational transparency, productivity, and overall security.

Vision
Aiming to be a global leader in attendance monitoring solutions and setting industry
standards for comprehensive access control and tracking, cultivating a culture of technological
innovation and excellence and empowering organizations with seamless, data-driven insights,
contributing to a safer and more efficient world through innovative solutions.
