ABSTRACT
Technology
The process of developing, designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software
applications that carry out particular tasks on a range of devices is known as software development.
Software development can be done for a variety of reasons, including problem-solving, service
provision, productivity enhancement, and user entertainment. Different kinds of software,
including system, programming, application, and embedded software, can also be involved in
software development. Programmers, software engineers, and developers are among the various
roles that can be involved in software development. They use a variety of tools, techniques, and
languages to create software.
Part I. Introduction
TechBuilders System Development
Why is it made?
R.F.I.D. Turnstile is created to address the need for efficient access control and attendance
tracking in various environments, offering improved security, convenience, and data collection
capabilities. This innovative solution aims to streamline access management processes, enhance
security measures, and provide accurate attendance records, ultimately improving operational
efficiency and security for organizations and institutions.
The purpose is to tackle the widespread issues in attendance monitoring prevalent in
various industries. In a corporate office, the R.F.I.D. Turnstile project is implemented to regulate
access for employees and visitors. Employees use R.F.I.D. cards for seamless entry, while visitors
are issued temporary badges. The system records entries and exits, providing real-time attendance
data. Security personnel can monitor access and receive alerts when necessary, enhancing security
and simplifying access control for the organization.
● The problem being addressed by the R.F.I.D. Turnstile product/service is the need for
efficient and accurate attendance monitoring in various settings such as offices, schools,
and events. Traditional methods of tracking attendance, like paper sign-in sheets or manual
headcounts, are often prone to errors and time-consuming. The R.F.I.D. Turnstile
automates this process, ensuring that attendance records are precise and easily accessible
in real-time, thereby improving efficiency and reducing the risk of inaccuracies.
● The problem stems from the inaccuracy and unreliability of traditional attendance tracking
methods, leading to disputes and errors.
● Manual attendance tracking is labor-intensive and error-prone, resulting in inefficiencies.
● Inadequate access control measures pose security risks and fail to meet modern standards
of data protection.

Product Benefits
● Our system is highly customizable and can be integrated with existing infrastructure.
● We offer excellent customer support and training services.
Advantages
● Eliminates manual attendance errors
● Enhances security.
● Provides real-time data.
● Customizable and adaptable.
● Reduces administrative workload
● Scenario: Auto record access control
Experience: At a bustling university campus, the R.F.I.D. Turnstile prototype is
implemented at key entry points. Students, faculty, and staff use their R.F.I.D. cards to
access different areas within the campus, from academic buildings to the library and
student dormitories.
Example: One morning, a student named Sarah arrives at the campus entrance. She swipes
her R.F.I.D. student card at the turnstile, granting her access to the campus. This simple
action automatically records her attendance for the day, which is crucial for both tracking
her academic progress and ensuring campus security.
Disadvantages
● Initial setup costs.
● Requires RFID cards/tags for students.
● Dependence on technology (potential downtime)
● Scenario: Technical issue access control
Experience: In a bustling school campus, the R.F.I.D. Turnstile prototype is implemented
to monitor student attendance and enhance security. However, on a typical morning, a
technical issue arises with the system, causing delays and frustrations for students trying
to enter.
Example: High school student Mark approaches the turnstile to gain access to the school
building. He taps his R.F.I.D. student card, but the system fails to respond promptly. Mark
and several other students are stuck waiting as the issue is addressed. This delay causes
Mark to miss the first part of his morning classes, impacting his learning and highlighting
a significant disadvantage of the system's potential for unexpected downtime.
Customer Benefits
● Enhanced efficiency for entering and exiting school premises.
● Web-automated system for Improvement of tracking architecture.
● Time and resource savings for educational institutions.
● Improved accuracy in attendance tracking.
● Enhanced security for students.
● Data-driven insights for better decision-making.
● Customizable to meet specific needs.
● Real world scenario: Enhanced Security and Smooth Guest Experience
Experience: At a bustling concert venue hosting a major music event, the R.F.I.D.
Turnstile prototype is implemented at the entrance gates.
Example: As the event begins, concertgoers arrive at the venue entrance. They present
their electronic tickets, which are quickly verified by the R.F.I.D. Turnstile system. This
efficient process not only enhances security by preventing counterfeit ticket entry but also
ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests, with minimal wait times.
