The Company is an Infrastructure company and awarded with various new mega projects for another
and HR systems are not ready enough to meet the company future requirements and in turn lead to con
cost management. The company’s incumbent HR processes were unable to support the revised resourc
HR related issues occurring. The company did not possess the necessary knowledge of Human Resourc
required enhancements to the company’s HR processes and procedures. The Senior Management team
address these issues and made an action plan to streamline the various HR processes like Manpower Pl
Performance Management systems, good employee relations at project sites, and to revamp HR policie
in the short, medium, and long term. The company reviewed the issues they faced with their employees
capability issues that were taking a lot of management time to resolve. The management has given this
along with some other senior employees from various functional areas. The team has interacted with Se
managers and most of the employees regarding the gaps and to make effective HR processes. They hav
processes from the similar successful large scale infrastructure companies and took the support of a ren
policies and systems. Through this process, the team has collected the various best policies of the indust
company senior management team after many brainstorming sessions identified the essential HR proce
required major changes to address the needs of the organisation and took a decision to implement the a
completion of this project exercise, many changes have been introduced by the company like – Instituti
TPM quality processes, Good manpower planning and Bench mark Talent Acquisition processes, hired
established Grievance handling mechanism, designed Annual training calendar with effective employee
work committees to address day to day issues on speedy basis, Immediate hiring of new Corporate HR
various bench mark HR processes and systems. Through this various change management initiatives, t
led to the great success.
