Job Description: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics & Python

Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics Specialist
with strong Python skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
web analytics and data analysis, with a focus on implementing and optimizing GTM and Google
Analytics (GA4). Additionally, proficiency in Python is required for automating tasks, data
manipulation, and advanced analysis.

Key Responsibilities

● Google Tag Manager (GTM) Implementation:


○ Develop, manage, and maintain GTM configurations for websites and mobile
applications.
○ Create, test, and deploy tags, triggers, and variables to track user interactions
and conversions.
○ Debug and troubleshoot GTM setups to ensure data accuracy.
● Google Analytics (GA4) Management:
○ Configure and maintain Google Analytics, including custom reports, dashboards,
and conversion tracking.
○ Implement advanced GA4 features such as cross-domain tracking, enhanced
eCommerce, and custom dimensions/metrics.
○ Regular audits to ensure data quality and integrity across all analytics platforms.
● Python for Data Automation & Analysis:
○ Utilize Python to automate data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL)
processes.
○ Develop Python scripts for advanced data analysis and reporting, integrating with
GTM, GA4, and other data sources.
○ Build custom data models and visualizations to provide deeper insights into user
behavior and marketing performance.
● Data Analysis & Reporting:
○ Analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.
○ Generate actionable reports and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and
concise manner.
○ Continuously optimize analytics strategies based on data-driven insights.
● Collaboration & Strategy:
○ Work closely with marketing, development, and product teams to align tracking
and analytics with business objectives.
○ Provide guidance on best practices for digital analytics, GTM setup, and data
integration.
○ Stay updated on the latest trends in web analytics, Python development, and
data analysis.

Qualifications

● Experience:
○ Minimum 5 years of experience in digital analytics, with a focus on GTM and
Google Analytics.
○ Proven experience in Python scripting for data automation, analysis, and
reporting.
○ Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for implementing and
troubleshooting tags.
○ Experience with other analytics tools and data visualization platforms is a plus.
