With effect of EGR
• NOx Formation:
– During combustion, Nitrogen N2 and oxygen O2
molecules are gets reacted and form oxides of
Nitrogen (NOx) at combustion temperature.
• Controlling NOX:
– Exhaust gas from Exhaust Manifold gets cooled
using EGR assembly.
– Redirect back to inlet manifold followed by
combustion chamber and control the combustion
temperature.
