Week 2 Assignment HR
Week 2 Assignment HR
According to one survey, nearly 60% of employees desire to work remotely full-time
after the epidemic.
In the coming years, data will be the new currency and a critical component of HR
operations.
As firms strive to unite scattered, digital-first workforces, technology adoption and
implementation are a top priority.
In the United States, there are 7.4 million job openings and a 3.6 percent unemployment
rate. As a result, companies must come up with innovative strategies to overcome the
skills gap.
Employers must be aware of Generation Z, a group born between the mid-1990s and the
mid-2000s. Many in this group regard worry as a major barrier to their occupational
success, which connects to mental health, according to Schawbel.
Identifying good company culture and translating purpose into a set of leadership and
employee norms and behaviors allows HR to create ideal individual attitudes and
behaviors tied to purpose. HR may also ensure that necessary adjustments to recruiting
and capability-building procedures and succession planning. HR can also use purpose-
driven indicators to make decisions about remuneration and performance.
4. Predict societal changes that you believe might take place within the next 10 years. What
challenges will these changes present to organizations?
As a result, organizations will gravitate toward a new work philosophy known as We
Working. In response to variable workloads, shortening time frames, and intensive flurry
of information flow and coordination, this idea entails creating small and flexible teams.
We Working will encourage companies to develop tiny, autonomous, high-performing
teams that will form, converge, act, and disband when tasks change.
5. Predict workplace changes that you believe might take place within the next 10 years.
What challenges will these changes present to organizations?
In 2022, more than 90% of firms aim to implement a mixed working paradigm for their
knowledge workers. While this will define the start of the year, several high-profile
corporations are expected to reverse direction and require staff to return to work full-
time.
6. How will HR be impacted by these changes? How can HR help organizations become
more effective in meeting the challenges these changes present?
Organizations that can reallocate talent in accordance with their strategies can beat their
competitors by more than twice as much. Organizations in a hybrid workforce must
think carefully about how people and places interact. The physical workplace can be
used to improve employee satisfaction. As a result, employees' interactions with the
workplace must be seamless and human centered.
