Develop your NeoLife story

Daily Success Habit #2:
Share the Products & Opportunity
Sharing is part of our human nature. When we find a great restaurant or book or movie, we tell
people. How great would it be if we got compensated for it? That’s exactly what happens when
you share NeoLife and people buy from your site. In the next few pages you’ll learn how to
share with both your warm market (people you know) and cold market (people you meet).

Finding your A-players


It’s helpful to identify the attributes you’re looking for in a teammate so, when you encounter
them, sharing is a no brainer.

Traits of A-Players You Want on Your Team:


• High Character
• Strong Work Ethic (maybe someone who is currently working lots of hours or multiple jobs.
You are looking for people who are not afraid of hard work).
• Teachable (willing to learn new things, get out of their comfort zone and follow proven systems)
• Positive Attitude
• Financially Motivated (has a strong reason why they want to earn income)
• Heart to Help People (want to make an impact in others lives)
• Determination (no quit attitude, won’t give up at the first sign of challenge)
• Enjoys working with people and building relationships

PRO-TIP Don’t prejudge, but DO judge by results. Perfect people don’t exist. The way to identify
A-Players is by inviting a LOT of people and investing time in those who show potential.

Create your Hot List


Start by creating a list of people you know who might be interested in NeoLife products and/or
business opportunity.

Option A: (Recommended) Use the Team NeoLife App to create a digital Hot List.
Sync your contacts and start swiping!
Click ‘Swipe’ on the contacts page to launch the feature, then swipe right to add someone to
your HOT list and swipe left for cold.
PRO-TIP Anyone who likes and/or respects you should be added to your list without hesitation.

Option B: Go old-school and write out your list.


Include their name and phone number.

The 4-Step Inviting Formula

The 4-step inviting formula is a helpful and effective outline to use when sharing.

1. Connect
Warm Market - Reach out and connect with people you already know. See
conversation starters on pages 15 and 16 for helpful examples on what to say.
Cold Market - Introduce yourself and ask questions about F.O.R. (Family,
Occupation, Recreation). Or give a sincere compliment.

2. Discover Need
Ask questions with a goal of genuinely getting to know them. Health and financial
needs will often come up naturally in the conversation.
A simple and effective approach to discovering needs is to ask what they are.
Don’t forget to go deeper if there’s time and ask questions like “tell me more” or
“what do you mean by that?” or “have you ever tried a natural solution?”

3. Invite
Ask them:
“If I knew a solution would you ________ (try it, watch it, attend) and let me know
what you liked best?”
Be sure to send or give them the sample, video, or event invite right away.

4. Follow Up
Make sure to check in with them again within a few days of the interaction.
Ask them:
“Hey, did you get a chance to ________ (try the sample, watch the video, register
for the event) yet? If so, I’d love to hear what you liked best.”

WARM MARKET PROSPECTING
The best way to start sharing is to start with your “warm
market”. These are people who you already know. No
matter how great you or the products or the business
are, NOT everyone will buy from you. So don’t assume
they will. Just focus on offering value and if they have a
desire and need, then great. If not, no worries.

3 Steps to Connect with Warm Market Prospects:

1. Pick someone from your Hot List.


2. Decide if you want to lead with product or business.
3. Start the conversation via text, phone call (no voicemails),
social media message, or in person. Don’t overthink it!
Just be genuine and straightforward.

PRO-TIP When you find an opportunity to share your story, do it!


Your story is a powerful way to inspire others.

WARM MARKET SCRIPTS:

Example 1: Connecting (Product)


• “Hey [name], how are you? Not sure if you saw but I’ve started my own nutrition business and
I’ve had (or you’ve witnessed people have) some really awesome results like… (list a benefit).
I think you might like the products. If not, no big deal."
• If ‘YES’...
OPTION A: “Check this out…” (send with a Team NeoLife App resource you think they’d like)
OPTION B: “Okay awesome. If I invite you to a private Facebook group to share some
information with you, would you be open to taking a look?”

(Use “ATM” on Social Media - Add, Tag, Message)


• If ‘YES’, add them to a Facebook group
• Tag them in a post or video(s) you want them to see
• Message them privately to explain that you invited them to the group and tagged them in the
post/video(s) and ask when they’ll have a chance to take a look.

Example 2: Connecting (Product or Business)


• “Hey! Have you heard of NeoLife?”
• Doesn’t matter whether they say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. Follow up with...
“This may or may not be for you. I don’t know. But I think you may be really excited about it.
If I sent you some information, would you be willing to check it out?"
If ‘YES’ - send with a Team NeoLife App resource you think they’d like or invite to an event.

• “Hey [name]. It’s been a while and I definitely want to catch up sometime, but that’s actually
not why I’m reaching out. I remember you as someone who is really into health and I wanted
to see if you’d be open to trying a product I’m marketing and give me some feedback on it?
I’ve had some game-changing results like [benefits you experienced]. Would be happy to
send you a sample."

Example 4: Connecting (Business)


• “Hey [name]. Just curious, would you be open to taking a look at some information on
leveraging a game-changing health and wellness brand to make some extra money. No
worries if not, just thought I would ask.”

Example 5: Connecting & Inviting (Business)


• “Hey [name], how are you? Not sure if you saw, but I’ve started my own nutrition business. I’m
really excited about this… had great results with the products and focused on expanding my
business. I don’t know if it’s a fit for you or not, but it would be really cool to do this with you
if you’re open to it. If not, no worries.”
• If ‘YES’ - they’re open to seeing more, INVITE them to one of the following:
- Invite to a Zoom health talk, upcoming team event or company event
(make sure it’s within the next week or two)
- Invite to watch Health Talk with the Team NeoLife App
- Invite to sample
- Invite to 3-way call with your upline or a leader in your team
- Invite to coffee or one-on-one get together
- Invite to a Facebook group like The Ideal Business
• If ‘NO’ - “Okay, no worries.”

COLD MARKET PROSPECTING

Reaching out to people you don’t know.

Remember to use The 4-Step Inviting Process:

COLD MARKET SCRIPTS:

Example 1: Connecting with Social Media "ATM" (Business)


• Send a Private Message... “Hey [name], I know we don’t know each other, but I came across
your page and noticed you’re from [their home city]. I’m expanding my business in [their home
city], and curious if you’d be open to taking a look at what I’m doing if it doesn’t interfere with
what you currently do? If you are, great, if not no big deal.”
• If ‘YES’ - “If I invite you to a private Facebook group to share some information with you, would
you be open to taking a look?”

(Use “ATM” - Add, Tag, Message)
• If ‘YES’ - add them to a Facebook group like The Ideal Business
• Tag them in a post or video(s) you want them to see
• Message them privately to explain what you did...
“Just invited you to The Ideal Business facebook group and tagged you in two short videos.
If you join the group you’ll see them. How soon do you think you can watch those two short
videos?”
• They’ll give you a day.
• Respond with… “Tell you what, I’m pretty busy that day but I should be able to squeeze in
a call at [time], will you have watched the video by [time and day] and I can give you a call?”

Example 2: Invite like a pro (Product/Business Video)


• Assume you already CONNECTED AND DISCOVERED A NEED
• Invite to video - “I have something that I think you’ll really like, that will show you a solution to
[their NEED]. If I send you a video, will you watch it and tell me what stood out to you (or what
you liked best)?”
• If ‘YES’ - “Great, it’s about a [length of video] minute video, how soon can you watch the video?”
• They’ll give you a day.
•"Tell you what, I’m pretty busy that day but I should be able to squeeze in a call at [time], will you
have watched the video by [time and day] and I can give you a call?”
• If they give you a solid ‘YES’ - “Okay great, I’ll put it down in my calendar to give you a call at
[time and day] and you can tell me what stood out to you (or what you liked best). Sound good?”
• If their response is wishy-washy like ‘Yeah, sure…’ - RESPECT YOUR TIME and say, “Okay,
sounds like you might not be sure. I’m a busy professional. If you’re just saying 'yes' to get me
off the phone just tell me now and we can save each other some time.”

Example 3: Connecting shared interest on social media (Business)


• “Hey [name]. I saw that you [shared hobby or common Facebook group] and thought we should
connect.”
• If they respond positively, say “Glad to connect. So, what do you do?”
• Wait for them to respond with profession.
• Follow-up with… “That sounds awesome. How long have you been doing that for?”
• Wait for response, then say, “Nice, do you love it? That must be so exciting!”
• If they respond negatively, say “Well that doesn’t sound like much fun. Have you ever considered
doing something else?”
• After their response, share what you do… “May or may not be a fit for you, but seems like it could
be great timing. I’m focused on building a home-based business and if you’re open to taking a
look at what I’m doing I’m more than happy to share it with you. If not, no big deal.”
• If ‘YES’ - respond with “Alright cool. What’s a good time to jump on a quick call? Here’s my
number [phone]. If you send me yours then I’ll know it’s you calling. I promise I won’t spam you
haha.”

Handling Objections
When making a decision, our brains automatically try to find reasons why we shouldn’t do
something. It’s totally normal and also why it’s important to be prepared to handle objections
that WILL come up. Your goal is to show them, in a caring and understanding way, that there is
a better way to see the situation.

Use the FEEL, FELT, FOUND method:


I know how you FEEL.
I FELT the same way about _________________ (their objection).
But this is what I FOUND _________________ (share alternative perspective).

Ways to Handle the Three Most Common Objections:

1.) [Money] The products are too expensive / can’t afford it


a. The company could have made cheaper products, but the owners want them to really
work. If this actually helped you with <<NEED>> would it be worth it?
b. I’ve found that buying the best is always worth it when it comes to health. But tell you what,
if I can help you earn your Health Solution free every month through our referral program,
would paying for your first order be worth it?
c. Business Prospect - Sorry to hear that. Do you have a plan to fix that? (Tell your story)
Example: I felt the same way when I started, I was struggling, but then I found that they
have a training system that teaches you step-by-step how to start earning and it’s been a
game-changer.

2.) [Time] Doesn’t have the time


a. It might not be a fit for you, but I’ve found that the busiest people are often the most
successful because you’re surrounded by people who want to have more energy, feel
better and look better.
b. If you truly don’t have any time, you might need this more than I thought. Maybe this isn’t a
fit, but you might want to find a way to generate residual income to help free up your time.
I’ve found it makes all the difference.

c. That's exactly how I felt, but then I thought how will I ever have more time unless I do
something that creates residual income. Otherwise, I'll be busy for the rest of my life, and
how will I enjoy it? I discovered this is my solution.

3.) [Belief] I’m not a salesperson


a. Totally understand, I felt the exact same way. But I found that all I do is just share, be
genuine and people are either interested or they’re not. It’s been a great experience and
honestly, I much prefer doing this with non-salesy people. I can show you how to do it if you
want but, if you don’t want me to, no worries.
b. Understandable, and I honestly prefer to do this with people who don’t have experience
in sales. I sure didn’t. We have the tools to make it super simple but, if it’s not for you, no
worries. Do you know anyone who might want to make extra money part-time if we show
them exactly how?

The Art of Closing
You’ll need to help people decide to buy products or join your team. Here are some DO’s and
DON’Ts to help you close effectively.

DO - Ask for the sale


You have to follow-up once a person is interested. NEVER assume they are going to go order or
join on their own.
Here are some things you can say to help guide your Prospect:
• “If this looks good and feels right, I’ll help you get started”
• “Is there anything else you need to know in order to get started today?”

DON'T - Close too soon


Some people will be ready to buy or join you right away and that’s great… don’t hesitate! But
others will need more follow-up and building rapport. Use your judgment and always remember
this business is about relationships. That doesn’t mean you should waste your time. If they’re not
interested then move on.

DO - Set realistic expectations / DON’T - Give false expectations


For the Business - Make sure they know it takes effort to have success, but you’ll be there
to guide and help them along the way. Allowing them to have a ‘get rich quick’ mentality is
dangerous for your reputation and ours.
For the Products - Yes, our products work but results will also depend on factors outside of your
control like lifestyle, habits, and daily use. Overpromising on results will set them up for buyer's
remorse.
