Digital Presentation
Activity 1
Question:1- Create a presentation which gives an overview of the science subject. This
presentation should contain the following slides:-
(i) Title of the subject (use only slide layout)
(ii) Index
(iii) Introduction of each chapter.
Answer:- (i). Title:- To change the title using the Slide layout, follow the below steps:-
1. Click the slide of which you want to change the layout.
2. Click on slide tab, then layout.
3. Then click on Title only option

(ii). Index:- For index you can either make a table or you can simply write on the slide the
chapter names:-

iii). Introduction of each chapter:- Introduce each chapter maximum upto 1 slide not more than
that. Add pictures relating to the chapters. From insert-images

Activity 2
Question:2- For the above presentation do the following:-
(i) Rename each slide with chapter name.
(ii) Change the font for the slide title.
(iii) Add a footer that contains the current date and your school name.
iv) Apply at least one master page to your presentation.
(v) Hide slides of even chapters and see the effect.
(vi) Start the slide show after seeing the option as change slides manually.(Navigator should
be visible).

Answer: (i) 1. To rename a slide right click on the slide, a popup menu will appear
2. From there select the option Rename Slide.
3. Now you can rename your slide

(ii). Step:1- Select the text of the slide Title of which you want to change the font.
Step:2- Select the desired font from the toolbar.

(iii)Step:1- Click on insert menu and select the option Header


and footer.
Step:2- Type the desired text in the slide menu in the Header
and footer dialog box.
Step:3- If you want to add it on all the slides then click on
apply to all.
(iv) Step:1- To insert a master page to your slide, select the master slide icon on

(v) To hide the slides follow the below listed steps:-


Step:1- Select the even slides. Right click, a pop up menu will appear. Click on Hide slide.

(vi) Step:1- Go to slide show menu and go to slideshow settings.


Step:2- Select how do you want the slide would come: Manually or Automatically.

Activity 3
Question:3- For the presentation created in question one do the following:-
(i) Convert the presentation into PDF form.
(ii) Set the handout view such that there are four slides per page.
Answer:- Step:1- Click on File menu click on save as option.
Step:2- Select the PDF format from save as type menu.

(ii)Step:1- Go to View menu, select Master Handouts.


Step:2- Click on the handout view(4slides in one page) and click on ok.

Activity 4
Question:4- Create a presentation which demonstrates details of a car launched by any
company of your choice. include the following slides:-
(i) Introduction of the company
(ii) list of the cars the company sells
(iii) Introduction of the new car launched
Question:5- For the presentation created in question above add the following functionalities:
i. All the models of the car should be displayed in tabular form
ii. Modify the appearance of the table and set animation effect as box
iii. add the image of each model with its description
iv. change the background colour of each slides of your presentation
Answer:-
i. Click on insert-table. Select the number of rows and columns.
ii. To add animation to the table select the table. Go to animations, form the effect section
select BOX.
iiiTo add the image, click on insert then select the desired images.
ivTo change the background of the slide, right click on the slide Then select slide properties.
Then click on background tab and select the color of your choice.
