URGENT MOTION TO ALLOW ACCUSED TO ATTEND


THE REQUIEM MASS AND FUNERAL OF HIS BROTHER

COMES NOW, the accused REMIL CABIJE GACHO, by and


through the undersigned counsel, unto this Honorable Court,
most respectfully states that:

1. Accused is currently detained at the Cebu City Jail – Male


Dormitory, Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City for the above-
mentioned cases;

2. The son of accused, JOHN REM SERAGA GACHO, died on


April 01, 2024,1 and is scheduled to be buried on April 13,
2024, Saturday, at Calamba Catholic Cemetery, V. Rama
Ave., Cebu City, after the requiem mass to be held at Pasil-
Suba Parish at 12:30 o’clock in the afternoon of the
same day.

3. His attendance at the burial rites will be the last chance for
accused to honor and pay his last respect to his son, and
accused will abide by whatever conditions that may be
imposed by this Honorable Court;

4. Accused files this urgent motion in good faith without any


intention to frustrate the administration of justice.

WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed of this Honorable


Court that an order be issued (a) Allowing accused, REMIL CABIJE
GACHO, to attend the 12:30 afternoon requiem mass of his son
at Pasil-Suba Parish, Cebu City, and (b) Allowing accused to
attend burial rites at Calamba Catholic Cemetery, V. Rama

Attached herein is the Death Certificate of Winston Mandin Fernandez as Annex “A”.
