This report provides an overview of the various activities organized and
engaged in by Nerella J Rahul (2100030379) within the Student Activity
Center during the 3rd Year even semester at KL University. The report

1. Introduction
The Student Activity Center serves as a hub for students to engage in
various extracurricular activities, fostering personal and professional
development beyond the classroom. This report highlights my
involvement in diverse activities within this center during the 3 rd Year
even semester.

2. Overview of Student Activity Center


The Student Activity Center offers a wide range of opportunities for
students to explore interests, develop leadership skills, and contribute to
the campus community. It hosts clubs, organizes events, and promotes
community service initiatives.

3. Activities Engaged in

3.1. Club Membership and Participation


During the semester, I actively participated in KL Talks Club and currently
I’m leading the club as the president fulfilling the role by organizing talks
and various knowledgeable sessions for students. This club provided
avenues for personal growth, networking, and skill development.

3.2. Event Organization and Coordination


Additionally, I contributed to the planning and execution of specific events
mentioned below.

I have Organized talk session for the students on various topics,

- Diverse acts: poetry, music, comedy, etc.

Women’s Health Awareness Session – 25th March


2024
- Informative session focusing on key aspects of
women’s health.
- Covers topics such as reproductive health, mental
well-being, and preventive care.
- Led by experts in gynaecology and women’s health.
- Includes interactive discussions and Q&A sessions.
- Aimed at promoting awareness and empowering
women to prioritize their health.

This involvement enhanced my organizational, communication, and
teamwork skills.
3.3. Community Service
Furthermore, I volunteered for various community service projects
organized by the Student Activity Center, such as taking a lead in the
cleaning drive on the campus on 26 th January 2024 with dignitaries of the
university and Building the Policy and Guidelines of Student Activity
Center also actively taking part in MyGov Competition and completing the
tasks acquiring 23,100 points earning the badge of Discoverer Level 2.

Engaging in community service not only allowed me to give back but also
provided valuable insights into social issues and empathy development.

4. Skills and Experiences Acquired


Participating in activities within the Student Activity Center has equipped
me with a diverse set of skills and experiences, including but not limited
to:

- Leadership and teamwork: Through club participation and event


organization, I honed my leadership abilities and learned to
collaborate effectively with peers.
- Communication skills: Engaging in public speaking, event
promotion, and interpersonal interactions enhanced my
communication proficiency.
- Time management: Balancing academic commitments with
extracurricular activities improved my time management skills.
- Community engagement: Volunteering for community service
initiatives deepened my understanding of social responsibility
and community needs.

5. Conclusion
In conclusion, my engagement with the Student Activity Center during the
3rd Year, even semester has been enriching and rewarding. It has not only
allowed me to explore my interests but also facilitated personal and
professional development.

6. Recommendations for Future Engagement


Based on my experiences, I recommend that students actively explore
opportunities within the Student Activity Center to maximize their
university experience. By participating in clubs, events, and community
service initiatives, students can broaden their horizons, build valuable
skills, and make meaningful contributions to the campus community.
