BUILDERS/OWNER WORK

Preparatory work and facilities in connection with Lift installation detailed below shall be
provided by the client or his Contractor in accordance with the Manufacturer's drawings
and specifications and in accordance with all relevant local ordinances and regulations.

a. Prepare a hoist way properly framed, enclosed and ventilated with lighting facility.

b. Provide suitable pit of proper depth drains and waterproofing, if required. Lift shaft
shall have adequate artificial lightning to be operated from a switch accessible from
the place from which access to lift pit is obtained.

c. Prepare hoist way entrances suitable to accommodate landing doors or gates.

d. Provide and / or cut all necessary holes, chases and openings and make it good.

e. Supply and fix all supports, separator beams, reinforced concrete slabs, etc.
necessary for the Installation of the machinery, guide brackets, doors, buffers, etc.

f. Furnish all necessary cement and / or concrete for "grouting-in" brackets, bolts, etc.

g. Provide and fix suitable scaffolding and protection of work in progress.

h. Provide mains for three phase power (415V-3 (+/- 5%) Phase – 50 Hz.) with isolator
of proper rating and single-phase lighting supply with switch to controller at top
floor. Position of outlets and size of wires as indicated by Lift Contractor.

i. Furnish required electric power for necessary lighting (temporary - 240V – 1 Phase
– 50 Hz.)of working place, using tools for installation, testing of lift and spray
painting.

j. Furnish required electric power for necessary lighting (temporary - 240V – 1 Phase
– 50 Hz.)of working place, using tools for installation, testing of lift and spray
painting.

k. Provide & Fix heat insulation materials on shaft top floor slab and proper ventilation
for maintaining the temperature inside shaft within 40C°.

l. Furnish required electric power for necessary lighting (temporary - 240V – 1 Phase
– 50 Hz.)of working place, using tools for installation, testing of lift and spray
painting.

m. Provide & Fix heat insulation materials on shaft top floor slab and proper ventilation
for maintaining the temperature inside shaft within 40C°.

n. Provide permanent light at each floor level in the shaft with a 3-pin socket in the pit.

Standard Terms and Conditions:

 Completion of job within 30 to 35 days. (Subject to Project
 Schedule, frequent payments as per schedule)
 Provision of suitable locked space / room storage of elevator equipment and
tools.
 Provision of suitable room for stay of workers.
 Prices Depends on Dollar rates.

Guarantee & Free Maintenance:

06 Months full warranty after handing over of lift, however, supplier’s

responsibility is limited only for manufacturing faulted part or bad workmanship
(visit charges would be applied). Company may be contacted after warranty /
guarantee for further maintenance on mutually agreed terms & conditions.
