Grade :- 11 Subject :-Chemistry (043)

 Volumetric Analysis / Quantitative Estimations (10 Periods)

Experiment 1 – To prepare M/10 Solution of the salts (Total 15) .

Experiment 2 – Dilution of Strong Acids & Strong Bases with pH and normality validation. Experiment 3 – To

detect the MP and BP of an given organic salt solution.

Experiment 4 - To determine the strength of given hydrochloric acid provided with N/10 sodium carbonate
solutions.

Experiment 5 – To Prepare pure crystals of Potash Alum.

 Functional Group Test (2 Periods)

Experiment 6 – To detect the presence of unsaturation in a given sample of organic compound.

 Salt Analysis – (5 Periods)

Experiment 7 – To detect the presence of cuprous & ferrous ions in given sample of salts. Experiment 8 – To

detect the presence of Sulphate & carbonate anions in given sample of salts.

 Volumetric Ananlysis : (4 Periods)

Type 1 - Determination of concentration/ molarity of KMnO4 solution by titrating it against a standard


solution of:
i) Oxalic acid ii) Ferrous Ammonium Sulphate

 Surface Chemistry (2 Periods)

Type 2 - Separation of pigments from extracts of leaves and flowers by paper chromatography and
determination of Rf values.

 Salt Analysis (7 Periods)

Type 4 – To detect the following functional group in a given sample of organic compounds.
