Role Summary:
We are seeking a young and enthusiastic professional to
oversee the successful implementation of a livelihood-focused,
sustainable rural development project under the thematic area
of "Home Stay" and Holistic Rural Management. The candidate
will work closely with the Director of Rural Management and
Program Manager to ensure project goals are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all project activities under the thematic

focus of Home Stay and Sustainable Rural Development.
• Work in collaboration with the Director of Rural Management
and Program Manager to ensure successful project
implementation.
• Provide technical input in areas of Livelihoods, Agriculture,
and Sustainable Development.
• Supervise field studies, assessments, and ensure quality data

collection and analysis.

• Prepare and compile high-quality, timely project field reports.
• Identify training needs for staff and inform the Project
Manager.
• Develop monthly project implementation plans, especially for
watershed management components.
• Prepare monthly activity budgets and submit them to the
Project Manager.
• Conduct timely performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Participate and contribute to workshops, trainings, and
meetings organized by the Department or other agencies.
• Mobilize communities effectively for the successful
implementation of project activities.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager
.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development, Community
Development, MARD, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in integrated livelihood-based
projects (mandatory).

Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in Agronomy, Agricultural Extension,
Livelihoods, Livestock Management, Environment, and Home
Stay Management.
• Strong background in community mobilization and
coordination with government and corporate stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agriculture Supply Chain, Marketing, and home
stay management.
• Familiarity with emergency response and rural development
projects.
• Excellent supervisory and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate
effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Job Location: Leh, Ladakh

Field Work Requirement: 50% field-based (monitoring and

implementation)
