I. PRELIMINARIES
A. REGISTRATION
At 8:30 in the morning, Ms. Jade F. Maglasang began listing the attendance for

the 2 Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly.

II. CALL TO ORDER


The session was called to order at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
III. INVOCATION, SINGING OF NATIONAL ANTHEM, LAKE SEBU HYMN AND
SOUTH COTABATO HYMN
Hon. Vince P. Fermocil led the invocation while the singing of the Philippine
national anthem, Lake Sebu and South Cotabato hymns followed via overture.
IV. ROLL CALL
The roll call was done by Ms. Jade F. Maglasang and declared that the
attendance was in quorum to transact a business.
V. RATIONALE OF THE KK ASSEMBLY
Hon. Enjay P. Berdin presented to the KK members the following crucial reasons
for holding a KK Assembly: youth participation and representation, decision-making and
policy formulation, accountability and transparency and empowerment and
development. KK Assembly empowers Filipino youth by providing a platform for
representation and decision-making in local governance. It fosters accountability,
transparency and leadership development among Sangguniang Kabataan officials. By
promoting youth engagement, it contributes to nation-building and community
development.
VI. WELCOME ADDRESS
On behalf of the SK Council of Brgy. Ned, Hon. Hopeniel F. Maglasang
expressed gratitude to the KK members for coming and for attending the 2 nd KK
Assembly and welcomed every one of them.

Hon. Merry Grace P. Celeste moved to adopt the business of the 2 nd KK


Assembly and seconded by KK member, Ms. Fraicel Joy Sumbad.

1. PRESENTATION OF THE 3-YEAR COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH
PARTICIPATORY PLAN (CBYPP) AND ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT
PROGRAM (ABYIP) FOR 2025

Hon. Elgie Ken Y. Alam presented the CBYDP and ABYIP with the KK members
in attendance. She explained that the three-year plan included in the CBYDP is
distributed and implemented yearly to an annual budget program, ABYIP. To wit:

She discussed further that some of the programs included in the plan are taken
from the suggestions of the Katipunan ng Kabataan members during the 1 st KK
Assembly.
The presiding asked for any clarification and remarks from the KK members. Ms.
Jenny Ann Zonio was recognized and moved that the CBYDP and ABYIP be adopted by
the body. Ms. Alonzo seconded. Motion carried.

2. SK BUDGET FOR 2025


Hon. Alam presented the 10% budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan from the
barangay amounting to ₱2, 347, 320.45. The total amount serves as the basis for the
disbursement of all necessary allocations and expenditures.

3. YOUTH CONCERNS
The presiding officer opened the table for voicing of concerns among the youth.
Hearing none, Ms. Precious Maglasang moved to close the discussion. Mr. Christian
Egno seconded. Motion carried.

VIII. ADJOURNMENT
There being no more matters to be discussed, Hon. Merry Grace P. Celeste
moved to adjourn the meeting, duly seconded by Hon. Celeste.
The 2nd Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly was adjourned at 11:05 in the morning.
