PHYSICAL EDUCATION
 According to C.L. Brownell, “Physical Education is the accumulation
of whole some experience through participation in large muscle
activities that promote optimum growth and development.”

 Cassidy says, "Physical Education is the sum of changes in the


individual caused by experiences centering motor activity."
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
 Oyco (2000), “…is important segment of general education which aims to
contribute to the total development of the learner through participation in selected
vigorous activities. It provides opportunities to acquire lifelong skills that are
essentials to his physical, mental, social, and emotional development.”

 Panganiban (1999), “…it is vital and integral part of general education designed to
promote the optimum development of the individual physically, socially,
emotionally, and mentally through total body movement in the performance of
properly selected physical activities."
PHYSICAL FITNESS
 According to Corbin, refers to the ability of your body systems to work
together efficiently to allow you to be healthy and perform activities of
daily living.

 According to Clarke (1971) Physical fitness is the ability to carry out


daily task with vigor and alertness without undue fatigue and ample
energy to enjoy leisure time pursuits and to meet unforeseen
emergencies.."
PHYSICAL FITNESS

MOVEMENTS
 an everyday activity that helps us to be able to escape from our
enemies and to move from one place to another in spite of searching for
food, good water, and better living standard, and so on.
 Movement helps with the flexibility of the body muscles, to support
elasticity with the muscles and maintains normal tone, the prevention
of internal and external diseases of the heart, as well engaging in
physical activities that can increase the rate of the heart.
EXERCISE
 According to Cambridge Dictionary, “physical activity that you do to
make your body strong and healthy.”

 According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “bodily exertion for the


sake of developing and maintaining physical fitness.”
