Strategic Intervention Materials (SIM) : A Closer Look

This document discusses the basic components for developing Strategic Intervention Materials (SIM) for classroom use, which include a Guide Card, Activity Card, Assessment Card, Reference Card, and Enrichment Activities. The Activity Card contains the main learning activities and should consider pointers like being engaging, allowing students to apply concepts, and testing different learning styles. An Assessment Card is also important to test if the activities effectively taught the intended concepts. The SIM is meant to supplement regular lessons and provide strategic interventions to improve student understanding.
