Interventions:

To manage the uncontrolled traffic and public movement in the region the
following interventions have been thought of such as:

Multi level parking -


The first issue is that of unauthorised parking place. To counteract the problem of
unmanaged parking a multi level parking space has been planned near the present
MC office place , relocating the office and designing parking space in that area.

Restriction of vehicular movement -


To encourage pedestrian movement in the market place and control the traffic,
vehicular movement has to be controlled by directing a certain path for better
movement of the vehicles without any hindrance in the way.

One way access to residential areas-


As the streets are not wide enough the vehicular movement in the residential place
shall have one way access to avoid the noise pollution and road blockage in front of
the residential areas.
Dividing the street:
To make place more managed and clean separate paths shall be provided for the
pedestrians and a buffer of street furniture can also be provided to make the place
livelier.

Beautification of the portion beneath the flyover. Creating a green spaces beneath
the flyover , streetscape. Decorating the place by lights or landscape elements.
Open air theatre place for the public a recreational area next the market area a
common area for the people to interact , replacing the Ramleela ground with the OAT , as
the stage is just used during the stage performance of Ramleela rest of the year the stage
area is not used . Thus, revitalising the place.

RECREATIONAL SPACES:
Using the barren land as a recreational area for the local public , children . decorating the
area with landscaping elements being it hard landscaping or soft landscaping elements.
Creating a central plaza for the same matter.

Relocating the circular shops near the market place. Facade treatment for the initial
shops to enhance architecture elements and planning of the place .
Designing pathaways and incorporating soft and hard landscape elements

Being a bus stand the area lacks shelter facility for the visitor / travellers. So a shelter
shed, near the stoppage of the buses, bus bay shall be provided.
