Analysis

In this survey of “Career Awareness of AIUB Students” we have found some career exploration analysis from
ten students of ARTS and ECONOMICS department.

Here they have given their opinion about their self awareness, personal career choice and so on. The students
told us about how much they concern about their career exploration and how they are started to choose
their career goals and objectives. They have also given their opinion that who influence them in their career
making decisions. Also how different their career choice from their educational field. Here we try to find out
the sort of career decidedness that they have.

In Question 1 when we asked for their planning about their future career 90% of the students of ARTS and
ECONOMICS department they have clearly planned for their career goals and objectives. About 10% of
students were not sure about their career.

In Question - 2 we asked that if their career is differ from their educational degree or not,60% of the
students were agreed,10% students were not sure and another 30% of the students were disagreed with this
answer.

In Question - 3 when we asked them what they think about in matching career with their personality or not,
about 60% students thought that their personality matches with their career and rest of 40% were totally
confused about their answer.

In Question - 4 we asked for their opinion about do they understand of career exploration or not, 80% of
students were agreed with the answer and the other 20% of students partially agreed about career
exploration.

In Question - 5 directly we asked for if they have done their career exploration already, about 60% student
had no idea about their career exploration and rest of 40% were highly agreed about their answer.

In Question - 6 we wanted to know who has helped them in selecting their career, about 50% student had
chosen no one that means that they had chosen their own career no one influenced them to choose their
career, about 30% parents,5% friends,10% teachers and 5% others helped them.

In Question - 7 we asked them their opinion about who can help them to learn more about their career,70%
students believed that their mentor could help them, rest of 30% could be their parents, friends or others.

In Question - 8 we asked for their awareness about their career goal, about 80% students were aware
about their career clearly and 20% were not that much aware about their career goal.

track or not, about 60% students believed that they are on their right track and rest of them do not know
