Course Outline
To successfully pass this course, students must achieve a minimum final grade of …..
2. Regulation
Refer to the SU Student Handbook, minimum attendance rate is 75% of the sessions, failure to
fulfill this requirement will prohibit the student to sit in the final exam. Lecturer has the right to
make a discretion for any special circumstances;
Any kind of cheating act during exam and/or plagiarism will not be accepted. Student will get ‘F’
for the respective course and must retake the course in the following semester;
Students are required to read the textbook on the prescribed topics prior to the scheduled
lecturing session;
Late submission of an assignment will not be accepted regardless of the reasons provided;
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Attendance: Students must attend a minimum of 75% of total number of lectures. Should the
class be performed on-line or outside of the classroom, the lecturer must record the students’
participation as a form of class attendance. Students who miss classes are responsible to find
out what was announced or covered in class.
2. Online quiz and exam grades will be available after finishing the quiz or exam. Grades for
discussion postings will be posted within days after the discussion has closed.
3. Make- up Exam : it will only be considered under extenuating circumtances, and with prior
notification and documentation ( original funeral notice, original doctor note, etc . Scheduling
appointments and vacations are not valid reasons for requesting a make-up exam.
