Microsoft 

Authenticator Re‐regitration for New Phone Guide 
 

1. Goto the website https://gisportal.james‐fisher.co.uk/showLogin.cc  

2. Login with your login ID and password.  
 

 
 
3. Select Security Questions and key in the characters on your screen as prompted. 

 
   
4. At the Microsoft Authenticator section, click on the  “ ” at the end of the sentence. 

 
5. Click on “Change Phone”. 

 
 

6. Install the Microsoft Authenticator on your new phone. At point no. 3 click on the “Can’t scan the QR 
code?” link.  

 
 

 
7. You will have a new Secret key displayed as shown below. 

 
 

8. Goto your phone Microsoft Authenticator app and click on the “+” sign on the top right hand corner.  

 
 
   
9. Click on “Other (Google, Facebook, etc.)”. 
 

 
 
10. Click on the bottom “Or enter code manually”. 
 

 
 

 
   
11. Key in the Account Name as “James Fisher VPN” and the Secret Key that was shown on your screen at 
step 7. Click “Finish” after you have key in all the information.  
 

 
 

12. Copy down the code displayed on your MS Authenticator on your new phone and type in the code on 
your computer registration website at Step 4 as shown below. Click “Verify Code”.
