Job Title
The Recruitment team HR Administrator (HRA) is the backbone to the recruitment team and works in close
collaboration with all members of the team, especially the Recruitment Officers (RO)s. They provide comprehensive
administrative support to the full recruitment cycle of international mobile staff (IMS) and other recruitment
activities. The Recruitment team HRA also provides administrative and logistical support to events organized and
carried out by the recruitment team. These include the pre-departure training for newly recruited international staff.
They participate in outreach activities, including communicating with the public on questions related to working
overseas.

Human Resources Operations; Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies, operational processes, and
considerations; ability to implement HR-related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure that day-to-day operations
run smoothly. Proficiency Level: 2
• Assists training sessions related to recruitment processes and systems.
• Documents routine workflows, resource requirements and dependencies.
• Familiarity with Equity, Diversity and Inclusion concepts and their application in a recruitment context.
• Implement-specific aspects of day-to-day HR operations according to HR strategies.
• Updates, reviews, and manages the Application Tracking System (Greenhouse) and ensures proper handover
of successfully recruited candidates to MSF’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
• Experience and familiarity with Canadian HR practice and legislation

Working Conditions
• The designated core hours for work are from 10a.m. to 3p.m., Monday through Friday, to ensure the
completion of a standard 37.5-hour workweek, some weekends and evenings may be required.
• Travel within Canada (mostly between Montréal and Toronto). Percentage of time required to travel: 5-10%
domestic travel.
• Flexible work hours available and hybrid work model (40% in Toronto or Montreal MSF Canada office, and up
to 60% work from home)
• Office environment is open concept and workspace is shared with colleagues
• Workstations consist of sit/stand desks, anti-fatigue floor mat, swivel chair, and laptop with double monitor
• Work requires long hours in front of a computer/laptop screen

Salary Grade: Level B on the MSF Canada Salary Grid, $58,762 per year (non-negotiable)
Status: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; MSF Canada is not in the position to support a work permit
process for any applicant outside of Canada.
