Cnctrain Network - Installation Procedure

CNCTRAIN NETWORK VERSION INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

10 USER LICENSE

1. You need 10 Computers which have been LAN connected(NETWORKED).

2. Select any 1 Computer as SERVER system and the remaining 9 Computers are CLIENT system.
3. Before Installing the Software you have to know the IP ADDRESS of the SERVER system as well as
the CLIENT systems.

To find the IP Address of a computer, do the following.


i) Open RUN window and type “CMD” and click OK.

ii) Type “ipconfig” as shown in figure and then press ENTER.


iii) The set of Numbers which is highlighted in PINK box is the IP ADDRESS of a computer.Here

it is 14.99.70.185

iv) In the same way find the IP address of all the CLIENT system and the SERVER system.
INSTALLATION AND SETTINGS IN SERVER SYSTEM.

4. Insert the CNCTRAIN Software CD in the SERVER system.

5. Open the CNCTRAIN Software CD, and open the following folder.

6. Double click the CNCTRAIN.exe file.


7. Click NEXT,NEXT,NEXT…and then click FINISH.

8. Now Double click UPDATE.exe,

9. Click NEXT,NEXT,NEXT…and then Click FINISH.

10. Now connect the USB Security Key(DONGLE) to the computer.


11. Go to C:\CNCTRAIN\SECURITY

12. Open the INSTALL folder.


13. Double click the SL2INST.exe
14. Click INSTALL.

IF ‘DRIVER NOT INSTALLED’ Error comes , Copy the following files and paste it in
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

15. Now open the NETSET folder.

16. Double click the NSL2SET.exe.

17. Enter the IP address of the SERVER system. DONOT CHANGE THE PORT NUMBER. Click apply.
18. Now Open the SERVER FOLDER.

19. Double Click SETUP.exe and finish the installation.

20. Now Go to Start-> All Programs -> Security Server -> Security Server
21. Now you should see a window like this.

22. Click the SETUP in the above window. A window will open as shown below.

23. Type the IP address of the SERVER as shown above and Cick APPLY, and then Click CLOSE.
24. Now click “RETRY TO START SERVER” button. Then the window should look like the image given
below.

25. Click OK.


26. Now you can find the Security server icon on the tray, as shown in the figure below.
27. Click ON the ICON, then the following window will open.

28. Click ON the” IP SECURITY “ Tab.


29. Click ENABLE. And type the range of the IP address within which the IP address of all the CLIENT
systems comes, as shown in the image below, and then Click SAVE and APPLY.

30. Now click the “ACTIVATED KEYS” tab.

NOW THE SERVER SYSTEM IS READY.


INSTALLATION IN THE CLIENT SYSTEM
31. Repeat the steps from 4 to 17.
