Job Satisfaction of Non-Uniformed Personnel of the Philippine National Police

(PNP) in Tagum City

Rationale

Professionals such as doctors, engineers, computer technicians, teachers, and

others who did not receive their degrees from the College of Criminology are referred to

as non-criminology graduates. They are those professionals who, according to your

dictionary, did not research how to lessen and prevent crime. In terms of obtaining

information, processing evidence, and disassembling and reassembling weapons, non-

criminology graduates are skilled employees but lack these skills. Graduates who did

not study criminology do not consider both the individual and societal aspects of

criminal behavior. They don't cover a wide variety of related topics, like the prevalence

of lawlessness, how it affects ordinary people and the nation, and how to deal with

offenders (Dapitan et al., 2023).

The experiences of non-criminology graduate police officers in the Philippine

National Police organization are necessary to perceive whether internal and external

factors affect their motivation and decision to enter the organization. Additionally, even if

they are not graduates of the College of Criminology, it is important for non-criminology

graduates to fulfill their aspirations of becoming public servants by joining the police

force. The experiences of police officers inside the organization are also helpful to

individuals who lack the freedom to choose their field of employment and who

subsequently get an overview of what it is like to be a police officer without a

criminology degree (Gantalao, 2022).

The qualities, technicalities, and specifications of the job satisfaction of non-

criminology graduate police. All of these were supported by scientific and statistical

analysis. The acceptability of non-criminology graduate police workplace came in first

for job satisfaction which are treated as professionals, respected, treated equally, and

not required to constantly prove themselves report significantly better levels of job

satisfaction. Employee incentives should be carefully considered, and preparation is the

key. Knowing the true individuals and their accomplishments, as well as validating

award recipients, will encourage the granting of prizes to those who deserve them

(Hilario, 2018).

This study anchored on the research of Lazaro (2023), which a complex and

diverse idea, job satisfaction can mean different things to different people. Motivation

and job happiness are typically linked; however, it is unclear how they relate specifically.

Motivation and satisfaction are not the same thing. More of an attitude or psychological

condition, job happiness. For instance, it might be connected to a sense of

accomplishment on your part. These includes work and workplace, supervision and

management, salary, benefits, and rewards, recognition, and communication. Human

values ought to direct companies. These businesses will focus on treating employees

fairly and with respect. In these situations, a work satisfaction survey may be a useful

tool for determining how effectively an employee is performing. High levels of job

satisfaction may indicate that workers are in good emotional and mental health.
