A RESOLUTION ON THE PARTICIPATION OF SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL IN THE


FORMULATION OF SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN OF MAYDOLONG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

WHEREAS, an enhanced School Improvement Plan (SIP) is a road map that lays down the specific
interventions that the school will undertake within a period of three consecutive school years;

WHEREAS. SIP strengthens shared governance by providing opportunities where the school and
community stakeholders collaboratively plan and identify interventions to address improvement
areas;

WHEREAS, pursuant to DepEd Order No 26, s. 2022, known as Implementing Guidelines on the
Establishment of School Governance Council, the SGC shall function as a structure for shared
governance and a feedback mechanism at the school level;

WHEREAS, the SGC shall be a feedback link between the school stakeholders school management
on school performance and service quality and serve as a collective and consultative body for school
plans, programs, activities, and strategic directions;

WHEREAS, the SGC shall participate actively in the formulation and implementation of the SIP and
other DepEd programs, projects, and activities;

WHEREAS, the School Governance Council through the Co-Chairpersons shall give
recommendations during SIP formulation.

NOW, THEREFORE, through the initiative of Mr. Sergio Colima, the SGC took part in the crafting of
the School Improvement Plan done last ______________.

RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the School Planning Team has incorporated the
recommendations made by the School Governance Council in the SIP formulation to improve
efficiency and quality of school services;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of these resolutions be furnished to the Office of the School
Head, SPTA____________________________

WE HEREBY CERTIFY TO THE CORRECTNESS OF THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION
