ACTIVITY DESIGN
The Local Government Unit of San Agustin, being a 4 th class municipality, has been reliant on
the Income Revenue Allotment (IRA) from the National Government to implement developmental
programs and facilitate delivery of basic services to its constituents. Thus, all the resources of the
LGU have been focused on the operation and management of the LGU, especially in the efficient
delivery of services to the citizenry.
Due the limited resources of the LGU, many of those important programs and essential
activities of this LGU, especially sports programs, have been sidelined and deferred. At present,
there are really no established sports programs or sports-related activities facilitated by the LGU.
In fact, sports development in the locality, be it in school or in the community, is truly disheartening
and discouraging.
As such, many of the youths of this municipality, and those people involved in sports
program, are really clamoring for some changes with regards to the improvement of sports
development in the locality.
To provide an avenue for those sports-minded individuals to train, play and participate in
the sports they are fond of ;
To encourage young and talented individuals to develop their skills in the sports they are
fond of and engaged into;
To strengthen the relationship and affiliation of local sports groups and concerned partner
agencies;
To establish a stable sports program for the municipality;
